Beautiful property. Room was well appointed and had most of what we needed. Bed was very comfy and huge! Would be lovely to stay in warmer weather to use the pool - or in winter for skiing (we stayed in the shoulder season). I would definitely recommend if you want an out of the main route location. Town was cute with nice coffee shop (Daily Bean) as well as grocery, liquor and other shops.

Vernon is a nice town with some cute restaurants .

Vernon is a nice town with some cute restaurants . We didn't plan on skiing but there was some skiing in the slope. We took a short walk on the AT boardwalk nearby . We spent sometime in nearby Warwick where there are lots of fun shops and restaurants.

depends why you came. We toured a facility nearby. world H Q for Jehovah's Witnesses,so for us the city and area around are beautiful ,woodlands and lakes peaceful small town atmosphere the restaurant in Warwick Village is great good food friendly service, fair price Galloway GRILLE

Fox and Bear Lodge was a wonderful inn for a stay!!

Fox and Bear Lodge was a wonderful inn for a stay!! The room was extremely clean and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds we have ever encountered!! The grounds are beautiful with many areas you can walk and sit and enjoy the scenery or spend some time meditating! Breakfast was exceptional! The frittata was delicious with fresh fruit and oatmeal and yogurt were available; the coffee was hot and strong!! Everyone we met was friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable! A nice surprise in our room when we arrived of wine and chocolate and chips!! Self checkout was easy and parking was easy. Wonderful Inn and location!!

They double booked our room and did not return 2 days funds.

They double booked our room and did not return 2 days funds. There was an error on booking and we arrived on the second day, so they cancelled our whole booking. I understand loosing the first days fees but not the last two days.
