"Cedar City is a great place to visit. I came for the Utah Shakespeare Festival, but there are many events throughout the year. Cedar Breaks National Monument, Zion and Bryce National Parks are accessible. It is easy to get around Cedar City once you understand the numerical grid system of addresses - very few streets are named. I had car trouble on my trip and I highly recommend Nosso Auto for anyone needing repairs during a trip."

I would like to commend Jadon at the front desk of La Quinta for his excellent service. Although my reservation was for December 24, I arrived very early around 6:00 AM, and he patiently helped arrange an early check-in. After a long journey, being able to rest immediately made a big difference. His professionalism and calm, helpful attitude truly enhanced my stay, and I would gladly choose La Quinta again.

Very clean and modern hotel, everything is uncomplicated from the great breakfast layout to the room with very large comfortable bed, large tv and numerous sockets and sub charger points. You can even use your phone to check in and out and as your room key. Very friendly staff on reception and breakfast duties. I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to others.

The Big Yellow Inn is one of a kind. Every guest room has a theme. We stayed in the Cowboy room. It was fantastic. Lots of memorabilia and nicknacks. The hosts were very welcoming and breakfast was plentiful We will definitely recommend this guest house to friends and family

This booking was very good, gut a follow-up at the Railroad Pass in Henderson, NV and this ridiculously long reviw has left me with the decision to not use this site again; and no, I will not answer anything else sent to me.

My complaint probably wont happen to another person.

My complaint probably wont happen to another person. The porch was amazing with the huge fire pit. The spa offered massage and use of their jaccuzi for reasonable price for a resort. We ate at the restaurant, staff was awesome and food portion was generous. Staff at the front desk was not super helpful with furniture issues in the room otherwise it was a relaxing and comfortable stay.

I love visiting my grandpa , and just love the views the weather, the fishing. My oldest son (15)can't get enough fishing, neither can my 9 year old, it's such a great change of pace from las vegas living. My daughter loves the tasty freeze too.

We have been visiting Cedar City for the past 8 years while our kids were attending Southern Utah University. We love the city and surrounding areas. There is so much to do, but in a small town. Views are beyond beautiful, and all the people are so kind. We will continue to visit, and possibly retire there.

Very disappointed that the pool and hot tub were both closed during our stay and that we were not contacted about that until a few hours before our check in. We did not get the lift tickets that were promised either. We expressed our frustrations to the man at check in and he provided complimentary breakfast vouchers, which were greatly appreciated. Thank you!

What a quaint little town. It's like being in Mayberry.

What a quaint little town. It's like being in Mayberry. And the temperatures are usually about 25 degrees cooler than Vegas and St George. Also, the Parowan Gap is only 11 miles outside of town. There you can see ancient Indian petroglyphs there, as well as dinosaurs tracks that date back to the Late Cretaceous Period.

This was my second trip to Cedar City visiting family.

This was my second trip to Cedar City visiting family. It's a cute but very small town. "Downtown" area is essentially a couple blocks on "Main Street." Have had a couple of decent meals here (Centro Woodfired Pizzeria, The Pub Spirits), but also a couple of bad meals (iHop, Jimmy John's). Fair amount of ongoing construction / refurbishment, which is a potential positive omen for the city, but detracted from my immediate experience. If it weren't for local family, I'd never return.

Beautiful lodge. View is stunning. Nice rooms - but very firm beds . Good restaurant, but expensive. Bar made really good drinks. Drive is challenging to those not used to mountain driving. Drive was beautiful though! Aspens were in full fall display!! Stunning! I would consider staying again.
