This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed. The staff were all so lovely, the facilities, the location, the attention to detail! The Bistro was incredible! Again, absolute lovely staff & probably the best steak I have ever eating. Highly recommend staying here if you head to Jackson!

The place is really nice, very comfortable with a big room with two double beds, nice shower, all very clean and breakfast was good. The place had also a little pool, sauna and spa. They also created a nice area near the river with seats around a fire where you can rest, read a book or have a drink. Location is perfect because it is 5 minutes walk to the town center and near the entrance at Grand Teton NP. The also have a laundry which is very handy. We had a perfect stay!

We spent just one night in the hotel but I wish we would have stayed more. The location is a perfect cowboy-style village with large apartments with everything you need and more. The apartments are very big, warm, comfortable, all made of wood for the perfect gateway. The location is wonderful, quiet but in the center of the town and close to everything you need. Recommended

Great place for all ages. A lot of see and do.

Great place for all ages. A lot of see and do. Highly recommend doing your research before you travel and book tours, etc. We booked our National Park tours with Echotour Adventures. Our guide Rob was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. If you go during a busy tourist time, make your dinner reservations early. We recommend The Local, Cafe Jackson Hole, Healthy Being Café & Juicery, Cafe Genevieve, The Blue Lion. For shopping, check out MADE. Moos has delicious ice cream. Obviously, the stars of the trip are the amazing sites at Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. Breathtaking.

Such a gorgeous place.

Such a gorgeous place. Wide open plains, rivers and views of the Grand Tetons. I felt like I was going back to the days of the wide open West, but with the creature comforts of a car, heated cabin and restaurants. An amazing place to unwind and reconnect with nature. (Plus, I hear in the summer there are lots of outdoor activities - ie river floats, fishing, horseback riding...). So close to the Grand Tetons - and Yellowstone too. Great location.

The pictures on Booking.com do not reflect the property. Colter Bay Village had a general store and a good restaurant as promised. However, the cabin for $380.00 was only a room with attached small bathroom. The bathroom had a shower with dirty, moldy caulking in the shower and around the bathroom. The cabin had no refrigerator, no television, no wifi, just bed(s) with a stain on our sheets. The pictures on Booking.com were great and they talked a lot about Colter Bay Village but no where did they mention how RUSTIC and lacking the cabin was. I'm extremely disappointed with the cabin and with Booking.com.

We were there first week in October, so we didn’t get the...

We were there first week in October, so we didn’t get the full experience because lots of the anemnities were not available. Some of the staff were friendly, but mostly our encounters with front office staff, horse riders area were rude. Our food servers were amazing, food was good but ridiculous expensive for what we received. The road construction from the village to Jackson was horrible, took 1.5 hours to go 12 miles. Gorgeous time of year to enjoy the miles of walking trails with beautiful views.

Very convient location and the condo was beautiful. Well supplied with everything from zip lock bags to bear spray! It was clean, plenty of towels, and staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed and all questions answered. They even shipped back a small purse my daughter accidentally left behind. I can’t say enough! If I am blessed to go back to Jackson Hole, I will stay here again.

If you want to see the magnificent Tetons, or ski Teton...

If you want to see the magnificent Tetons, or ski Teton Village while avoiding the outrageous prices there, you more or less have to stay in or near Jackson, or face impossibly long commutes every day. So, having this monopoly, Jackson is expensive, especially since tourist and skiers are seasonal and Jackson has to make hay while the sun shines. There are regular events (like the antler auction we saw in mid-May) that liven up your stay. It's a fun town to walk around.

There is actually really nothing in Moran, other than...

There is actually really nothing in Moran, other than Headwaters Lodge and Cabins and lots of natural beauty. You have to drive to go anywhere else to eat. We stayed 4 nights in our cabin, we ate dinner all 4 nights at the Lodge because we were to tired to trek anywhere else after hiking and exploring all day. We sat out back near the firepit most evenings at dusk and saw elk in the field below. The view of the Snake River valley is lovely and peaceful.

Enjoyed the cabin, except for hearing people talk loud, slam doors and go to the bathroom in the adjoining cabin. The cabin itself was really nice otherwise. Getting around Colter Bay is easy and wonderful scenery. Next time around, I would not stay in one of the cabins that had an adjoining cabin. I would definitely stay in just a two person cabin only.

The Alpenhof is a terrible old creepy place! Furnishings looked like something my great great grandparents in the 1800's would have had. Not clean, A/C did not get cold, the front desk clerk at check in was nowhere to be found for ten minutes and the one in the morning was sound asleep under her hoodie when my wife went down to find coffee (which when awakened, she told my wife not until 8 AM). No breakfast, no nothing - just an old, creepy, dirty, uncomfortable room with flies and a spider and about three electrical outlets, all full. Stay away from this dive!

It is a small town, you can see everything in 1 day.

It is a small town, you can see everything in 1 day. Maybe a longer stay if you are a skier and there is snow but with no slopes open it's just a really cute little town with some good restaurants, shops and bars, but almost all of the tourist cities have those same amenities. Yes, the scenery surrounding the area is nice but there are so many "Nice to Look At" areas all over the state.
