United KingdomThis hotel was a bit of a sweet find. Not only are the corridors carpeted and wide, and the room very spacious. But there is a decent sized swimming pool open all day, and a small gym. As well as a bar/restaurant.
Next door you also have a dunkin doughnuts that opens at 4:30am.
Just outside the venue a five minute walk away there is a lovely shop that sells homemade pastries and cakes. Well worth a look.

An amazing and special place.
We really liked the silence of the place, and the sounds of the water flowing near the door and under the window. All this contributes to relaxation and a sense of peace.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Homely, cozy atmosphere. Many thanks to Inna, the owner of this place, for creating such a cozy atmosphere.
Pure and well-groomed territory.
We were there in mid -July. The description indicated that it was not far from the lake. However, it turned out that we had to drive to the lake for about 15 minutes.

The staff were so helpful, especially Carol who even lent us her personal phone and also took our rental car company to task over a problem that would have been far more difficult to resolve because our phones wouldn't work. She even called in when off duty to give us info. Above and beyond the call of duty. You will feel well taken care of at Carriage House.

The location is super. Nice restaurant in the park and neighbourhood. The park it self has a lot of things to offer. Canoeing, zip line, swimming pools both indoor and out door and of course golf. We are already planning for next year visit to enjoy all the thing they have to offer.

Mount Pocono is a delightful little town.
Mount Pocono is a delightful little town. There are a couple of good restaurants and the location enables one to get easily to other Pocono areas. We found a nearby Thai restaurant that was absolutely excellent. We also enjoyed visiting two pierogi stores. We found several small parks and went up to Cresco to visit the candy store. The big outlet store is nearby as is Mount Airy.

Amici’s Pizzeria had great pizza and pasta dishes. Owner was very friendly. Service was fast. Great prices. Daily specials.
Drove to Bartonsville and went to The Original Poconos Pub. It’s 100 years old. Great food, great prices, daily specials, entertainment in the evening.

The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I only had one issue and that was the air conditioner. It was too loud and rattled but I overlooked it as I got to spend the weekend with my family!

I’m a bit partial to Stroudsburg, as I grew up in the area.
I’m a bit partial to Stroudsburg, as I grew up in the area. It has so much to offer. So many activities to choose from! You can choose any type of food and it’s in Stroudsburg! Love coming “home” to visit once or twice a year! A must shopping experience is Shop Rite grocery store!

Actually a nice house but with no useable toilet (NO Paper) flush Uggggh. The HOA gate situation is awful we had to backtrack for miles and stand in line for over an hour. WE sent out information during the previous week and it appears the owner forwarded the information to the HOA. The HOA just had not bothered to produce a gate pass for us so we were not allowed entry.

Very pleasant stay at the SwiftWater.
Very pleasant stay at the SwiftWater. The view from the room of the woods and deers roaming was a unique experience. Dinner at the onsite restaurant was pricey yet delicious. The staff was extremely polite, professional, and helpful. The pool was relatively small but enjoyable and warm. Parking was free and the location of the property was great.

We stayed in the Blakeslee area because it is close to...
We stayed in the Blakeslee area because it is close to Pocono Race Track. There is not much there so we spent a day in Jim Thorpe (20 minutes from Blakeslee) which was very enjoyable. Great place to walk around with little boutiques and eateries, many museums and mansions to tour as well as the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway, a tourist attraction with a 16-mile round-trip narrated excursion.

Nice house and area- but facilities we not cleaned properly...
Nice house and area- but facilities we not cleaned properly or ready for use as indicated by host. Caused hazardous conditions- fire of grill that could have been avoided according to fire chief. We had to run for safety out of home due to propane gas. Fire chief reports this was caused by inadequate care and cleaning on property owner and general ill should not have been in use. Host did not respond to contact until hours later and simply stated "sorry that happened- was fire department able to put it out". No follow up - no concern for our safety or stay or ev n the property and loss of amenities. Loss of monies and food items a a result - could not use oven it was filthy needed cleaning and filled with grease. Very disappointed- was hopeful that it was going to be an enjoyable.

Favorite place to eat and drink and listen to Jazz: Dearhead Inn.
Right off 209 and I-80.
Near Bushkill Falls: hiking.
Near Delaware Water Gap National Park: biking.

Indoor pool was usable but needed a lot of upkeep. No working shower in pool area.
Very run down hotel and Very musty spelling. It was a overnight stay and we made it through the night and we were out of there before 9am the following morning. We needed to be out of there, needs a lot of work and upkeep. Pictures online are NOT what the hotel looks like.
