An amazing and special place. We really liked the silence of the place, and the sounds of the water flowing near the door and under the window. All this contributes to relaxation and a sense of peace. Very friendly and attentive staff. Homely, cozy atmosphere. Many thanks to Inna, the owner of this place, for creating such a cozy atmosphere. Pure and well-groomed territory. We were there in mid -July. The description indicated that it was not far from the lake. However, it turned out that we had to drive to the lake for about 15 minutes.

My husband had to buy oven cleaner and clean the oven before we could cook. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet with food on them. It looked as if no one had even attempted to wash the dishes. The location is super. Nice restaurant in the park and neighbourhood. The park it self has a lot of things to offer. Canoeing, zip line, swimming pools both indoor and out door and of course golf. We are already planning for next year visit to enjoy all the thing they have to offer.

Amici’s Pizzeria had great pizza and pasta dishes. Owner was very friendly. Service was fast. Great prices. Daily specials. Drove to Bartonsville and went to The Original Poconos Pub. It’s 100 years old. Great food, great prices, daily specials, entertainment in the evening.

Indoor pool was usable but needed a lot of upkeep.

Indoor pool was usable but needed a lot of upkeep. No working shower in pool area. Very run down hotel and Very musty spelling. It was a overnight stay and we made it through the night and we were out of there before 9am the following morning. We needed to be out of there, needs a lot of work and upkeep. Pictures online are NOT what the hotel looks like.

Many fine choices for hotels and restaurants. And they have a superWalmart!! We were not happy with the constant heavy traffic at any time of day. However one has to realize it's a big metropolitan area and just adjust. I am looking forward to coming back again next year.

The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I only had one issue and that was the air conditioner. It was too loud and rattled but I overlooked it as I got to spend the weekend with my family!

Not a great feel here. Breakfast was sparse at best. Horrible arrangement of bathroom door - had to get yourself all the way in and close the door which missed the toilet by an inch - must have had a dimwit design this. Toilet was super low and uncomfortable - unusually short - I am only 6' 2" and felt like my knees were touching my forehead - ridiculous! Staff was barely acceptable.

I’m a bit partial to Stroudsburg, as I grew up in the area.

I’m a bit partial to Stroudsburg, as I grew up in the area. It has so much to offer. So many activities to choose from! You can choose any type of food and it’s in Stroudsburg! Love coming “home” to visit once or twice a year! A must shopping experience is Shop Rite grocery store!

Do NOT book- unsanitary and unsafe We stayed here during our vacation and had to change rooms. ROOM1 (Juliette): The bed sheets were stained all over, inside the shower was moldy/black, and the light fixture in the ceiling was broken/hanging. They moved us to ROOM2 (garden of eden apple)- supposedly the "private pool and pool view"from your bedroom. It was worse. Flies all over the room, mold inside the pool vents and on top visible and thick mold on the steps going into the pool. I would not let my family swim in it. For the price we paid, this was unacceptable. We have photos and videos of everything. Management needs to deep clean and fix health hazards. We will not be back. Dont let what you see advertise on the website trick you, this place is totally run down not what i expected I'm very disappointed. Food: This was the worst part. Breakfast is only 8am-10am. We got there at 10:05am and were told Breakfast is closed, go to spooners bar & grill. That place doesn't open until 12pm and only servs wings and fries the only thing we knew on their menu. So if uou miss Breakfast by 5 minutes, you have no Breakfast and have to eat wings and fries food for lunch. They close at 10pm, so if you're hungry at night, everything is closed and you have to hold your belly until Breakfast the next day. And breakfast is not included unless you pay extra for a package. We had to pay out of pocket for every meal apart from Breakfast that i added in my package- lunch and dinner. Activities: Even their boat ride- the life vests were visibly dirty. I was scared to wear it, i didn't want my skin to break out. Cleanliness: no one came to clean our room the entire stay. No bottled water was ever added to the room. Coffee maker was dirty. Worst hotel experience- never again...this is my first and last time here.

Just overnight stay on a long trip from Maine to Tennessee. Easy access from I-81, clean facility, great breakfast included. Children enjoyed the pool time and helped them wind down from a day in the car. Looked like a lot of options in the immediate area (restaurants, shopping, etc.) but we were not there long enough to explore.

As you can see by my review of the Chateau Resort, we were extremely disappointed with this booking. They told us the heater for the pool was on order. Looking at some of your other responses, this heater was broken at least three months ago.
