Well appointed kitchen, WiFi, comfy beds and coffee, cream, breakfast food and even S’mores provided. Clearly the owners have thought through everything with care. And all at a great price! The location is super close to Mt Rainier entrance and the MTTA snowshoeing huts, and convenient to restaurants and services in Ashford and Elbe.

United KingdomBeautiful little cabin, very cosy and comfortable. The hot tub was lovely on a cold day. The location was great for Mt Rainier (even if the weather meant we never got to see the mountain itself). Kitchen facilities were brilliant.

Extremely cheap and great value for money
We were worried thinking we had booked somewhere down and out
We stayed in the motel style room - 2 huge beds, very spacious that I could so a workout in the room.
Fridge and microwave
Bathroom a little dated and shower ok. Everything was very clean
The accomodation had a quiet time and it was so quiet, didn’t even hear the road vehicles
Fire pit, BBQ and outside seating areas provided. The lodges had their separate areas and facilities
Would stay here again if I was this way.
Good short distance to Mount rainier national park which was the reason for our stay

Perfect location for visiting Mt Rainier Gondola, Sunrise and Tipsoo Lake. Stayed in the Village Inn building. Room was no frills but comfortable. Bed was very comfortable, but rather high for a short person to get onto. Breakfast was self serve continental, with a reasonable choice of items. Limited choice for eating in the evening, but this was pre-winter season so very quiet.

Cute small town, didn't get much time in town, ate dinner there, the food was pretty good, the coffee at the little mobile drive through was amazing, the other sit down one in town was just ok if that- great scones though.

Room was comfortable and breakfast pretty good, it was our first time in that area, could have maybe stayed closer to Mount Rainier National Park, we drove about hour each day getting to the different entrances. Our best advice do your homework.

It was a good location for Mt Rainier.
It was a good location for Mt Rainier. We usually stay inside the park but we were unable to on this trip. The staff was friendly and the room was comfortable. The only downside was road noise. There is a restaurant within walking distance that serves from 7 to 5.

Not much to do in this town, no real grocery store, so bring your own food, or pay four times the value for ramen noodles.
Mt Rainier NP it's phenomenal!!!

What a great little town.
What a great little town. Locals extremely friendly and accommodating. Papa Bear's restaurant was recommended by our host, and it didn't disappoint. Convenient to both Mt Rainier and Mt St Helen's. Walkable little downtown area with restaurants and shops. Would definitely visit again.

Packwood is a small town--only about 350 people.
Packwood is a small town--only about 350 people. Not much to see, but we came there to sleep and go to Mt. Rainier, so we were okay with everything. We had coffee and pastries at Mt. Goat Coffee that was good, but average.

Ashford is barely a town, 1 gas station, a general store from 1905 (seriously), and a handful of restaurants. It's beautiful but remote and about an hour's drive from other conveniences. But a great base for Mt. Ranier National Park.
