This hotel was recently renovated and now feels like a chic boutique hotel! The decor is awesome, a record player in every room and a vast record collection to choose from in the luxurious and cozy lobby. The pool is so nice! The children’s playroom and adult game room also were amazing! Such a great atmosphere and vibe, so modern and felt way more expensive than it actually was.

Excellent location only a couple of miles off the freeway.
Really comfy bed and great shower over the bath.
Wonderful view of the lake and the lake was an easy 3 mile round trip. You could use the kayaks or bikes if you wanted to be more adventurous.
Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it.
Will definitely go back when passing through again.

Very quaint Inn with lots of nice touches. Full kitchen was great. Check in was easy with door code and keys on wall.
Location great for skiing at Sunapee. Decorations were tasteful and beautifully coordinated. Main sitting area was comfortable with a gas fireplace. I stayed in the Moss Creek room and it was excellent. Everything was brand new. Bed was comfortable. Shower was perfect. Everything was very clean. Heat kept the room cozy and regulated well. (Has individual room control) It is a self-service inn with no front desk but that is common these days and works out just fine. I had a couple of questions and Kayla the owner called me back right away, answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable and happy. Would highly recommend and would return!

If you are expecting fast food and restaurant locations you...
If you are expecting fast food and restaurant locations you will be disappointed. Primarily local restaurants and expect to spend on average $40-80 a meal with a cocktail. As far as outdoor adventures the location is a great spot for hiking trails, mountain climbing, and Spring/Fall imagery. It is absolutely a hidden gem when it comes to the outdoors. Highly recommended if you enjoy hiking and the outdoors.

We went to bed very late and the line workers staying there...
We went to bed very late and the line workers staying there were up stomping around at 4 am. I understand it's all old building and quite time is supposed to be 11-9. We checked out before about 8am because we couldn't go back to sleep. No shower because the shower curtain was filthy.

The Inn was wonderful.
The Inn was wonderful. We enjoyed dinner at a different Inn that was very overpriced.
Our gourmet breakfast at Follansbee Inn was wonderful and served in the original dining room with original china and silverware. Surroundings were authentic to the period.
