We felt very much at home for the few days we stayed. We loved how comfortable, clean and cozy it was. We made good use of the kitchen that came with all the essentials. And we especially appreciate the warm welcome to our 2 dogs with included supplies, treats, towels, and sheets. A perfect getaway. We would stay again.

The location is great, directly next to easy beach access. The staff was helpful and friendly. The kitchen was well stocked with any equipment or pans we needed, and even cooking necessaries like oil, sugar, salt, etc. The apartment very clean and comfortable for our family of four adults, and the beds especially comfortable. The neighborhood is great, with a super coffee shop and restaurant across the street and a very well-stocked grocery store two blocks away.

It was perfect for a family of 4 because we had a suite with 3 beds. It was very clean. They thought of everything, you could tell the owners cared about the hotel. The staff were excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and we borrowed one of the many movies they have on hand.

We liked everything. The rooms were really clean and the TVs are big and clear. The river view was beautiful and short walk to the beach. Walls have good insulation and can’t hear other people in the other rooms. Taffy in the room was good!

The Driftwood Restaurant was so good.

The Driftwood Restaurant was so good. The baked Salmon so delicious we did a dinner but first a lunch to check it out. The clams were done so good. The baked potatoes done so well not steamed and the sauces for the salads and potatoes and salmon were delicious. We had tthe Clams at Moe's don't even bother it is convenient and cheap for families eating but not really good clam chowder or clams...very disappointing. Pig and Pancake was fast serving and good food. Most merchants were very helpful and kind as were the service people in the restaurants. Thanks for the 3# I gained to Salt Water Taffy a bunch of flavors soo good. I brought home a bag for the grandkids and family to enjoy also our Yoga Group!! We drove through Seaside Great for kids not for us when you want to relax and enjoy the beach Cannon Beach is the place. Great shopping lots to see. The kite flying was as good as at Long Beach which everyone knows is a good beach for kites. But Cannon beach was so clean and all the dogs and their owners took care to pick up when their dogs left poo. Thank you dog owners for being so conscious of if the beach isn't kept clean no one will want to be on it. A great place to walk your dog and the merchants are dog friendly even so are restaurants..as long as you keep your dog on a leash and he/she is friendly and not aggressive. I saw no one's dog acting badly people pay so much attention to their dogs it is amazing THEY are part of the family....

I love Seaside!

I love Seaside! It has a small town feel to it even though it's busy. Downtown can get pretty crowded, but there are a lot of places to go in and near Seaside for less crowded beach access, fishing and other outdoor activities. They keep things pretty quiet at night, which my group liked, but could see how this would deter others' vacations if they like to do louder things after quiet hours.

Astoria is a lovely little city built on hills, with a spectacular view of the mighty Columbia River. It is close to the coast and towns like Seaside and Cannon Beach. Restaurants are good too, especially Bridgewater Bistro, Fulio's, and Fort George Brewery & Public House.

Rockaway Beach is a great small town with great access to the beach. A good location to travel to other beaches and attractions in a short amount of time. You are within less than an hour of driving distances to several State Parks, i.e.. Oswald, Ecola. It is also a short driving time to Tillamook, Seaside and Cannon Beach.

I loved everything about staying there and I love the breakfast and the hot tub and that's what sold me on staying there for PS the breakfast could use a little few things different such as ADD sausage that would be nice change or some kind of meat some kind of potato . The breakfast is the only thing that lacked a little bit milk would be nice cold milk

Gearhart is less commercial and less busier than other coastal towns, with a relaxed vibe and quiet. That said, this town is super close to restaurants and services in Seaside and the art galleries of Cannon Beach. I was able to visit and enjoy all three towns and enjoy the amenities of all of them without having to do a lot of driving. I ate at Nonnies for Italian dinner one night (Seaside) and yum. I enjoyed the Dragonfire Gallery in Cannon Beach on another day. My favorite was walking the clean deserted beach at Gearhart where I had nature all to myself.

House was disappointing and was not as depicted in the photos online. It appears to have been painted recently and possibly some new flooring, but other than that, it is not updated. The living area has older furniture and a small love seat and sofa that has a flowered pattern, but is somewhat covered in a blue stretchy cover. The beds are adequate, but not comfortable, and the “master” footboard leans. The blinds in the other upstairs bedroom were broken. The linens are not updated or plush by any means. Older small bathrooms. We did not use the downstairs area – no bathroom downstairs. There was not any type if table on the deck so we could not eat outside. There were two plastic chairs and two Adirondack chairs only. It said “the home is fully equipped and stocked with a starter amount of essentials to get you going”. There were pots, pans and dishes and one small baking tray. There was no coffee and only one ice cube tray. The master toilet leaked and several emails were sent. Regular phone service did not work. On the positive side, there was hot water in the bathrooms, the appliances all worked and the deck view was very nice, even though somewhat obstructed. Internet worked. Convenient location, as well.

We loved the views of the Ocean and how easy it was to go to the beach. We had breakfast sandwiches from a little shop down the street from our stay at Manzanita inn. The town was so much more quaint and not so busy like Cannon Beach and other beaches further north were.
