Great resort with a fun, laid-back vibe. The front desk staff gave us a parking pass when we arrived around noon and encouraged us to go use the pool/go down to the beach until our room was ready. We had the 2 bed, 2 bath suite and it was a gorgeous room that was clean, well stocked, and had views overlooking the ocean. All of the guests and staff we encountered were very kind. Can't beat the location on Treasure Island, definitely reccommend!

I'm native since birth of St.Pete, all of my still resides...

I'm native since birth of St.Pete, all of my still resides here. However, I've been an expat living out of the country in Europe for over seventeen years now. I am pleasantly surprised at how things have changed aesthetically. Downtown has more of that European look and vibe that I've grown accustomed to while living abroad in Europe. However, the appeal of St.Pete has always been proximity to water and all of the natural wildlife. To me, that's always been worth the the return visits. Downtown is more touristy, especially along the board walk to the Pier, for which I must honestly say, it is the only real disappointment (architecturally) in my eyes. Otherwise, considering downtown St.Pete's small relatively size, it;s actually more appealing to me. I haven't eaten downtown much but I can whole highly recommend -Joey Brooklyn's - pizza! Damn good! Next, on the Gulf coast side - The Conch Republic - their gator bites and their conch fritters...mmmm...mmmm..MM! Finally, in the city of Gulf Port - O'Mandy's - I've only recently eaten there and I can't wait to go back. Btw, Gulf port village has a pretty cool, Key West kinda look to it. But you could easily pass it if you aren't actually looking for it. One of my older sister's turned me on to the place. As for activities, you have water on three sides so use your imagination.

Clearwater Beach is a beautiful beach with chair and umbrella rentals, etc. Very good for families. We saw no bad behavior going on while we were there. There are two great upscale beachfront bar/restaurants on the beach near the condo we stayed in. It also is only a few minutes walk to the main road running though Clearwater where there are numerous additional restaurants, stores, etc.

Beautiful, clean, uncrowded, easy parking, great for walking, swimming, sunning! It's currently getting a "rejuvenation" (plumping sand due to storm erosion) but it isn't a hinderance to enjoying the awesomeness of nature's gift!

I have lived in Clearwater since 1967.

I have lived in Clearwater since 1967. Our condo is being totally renovated due to damage from Milton. My daughter and I have lived in the condo for 30 years. Sleep Inn is great to stay at when we drive from Port Orange, FL to check on the progression of things, visit friends and continue seeing our family Doctors.

It was extremely close to the beaches a great park in the botanical gardens right within walking distance everything you could need was very close and accessible, but the home is secluded in private. You really get to enjoy your time without the hustle bustle of city life but everything is readily available. I even traveled to the Florida aquarium and it was an easy quick drive I would highly recommend, this location for vacation to anyone looking to spend time in Florida

I loved the cute downtown area, it was all old houses converted to restaurants, but it added to the charm of the town. Everyone there were so friendly. We were able to walk or bike to most places. It's a very bike-friendly and dog-friendly town. We appreciated the fact that it's not commercialized like Clearwater is. My other half really enjoyed walking to the different breweries, there's quite a variety of breweries if you like beer. Honeymoon island was a short drive away. We rode our bikes to it from the golf course but it was a tough ride unless you have an e-bike. I will definitely be back to visit this town!!! Can't say in enough words how much I enjoyed this trip!

The Sponge Docks and Tarpon Avenue were such fun and what a variety of shops and eateries. Urban Grounds coffee shop was excellent for homemade baked goods and coffee and Costa's Restaurant has excellent service and wonderful food.

Your staff must communicate better. We showed up...they had given me 2 rooms for 1 nite instead of 1 room for 2 nites. The second day I was there, when I approached the desk about my bill..they thought I was checking in...AGAIN? One hand didn't know what the other was doing! Didn't need the stress. Too many hotel options in the area for me to have to deal with this nonsense. I'll stay elsewhere. Suggest you do the same!

Oldsmar is a quiet and affordable place, often chosen as a base thanks to its reasonably priced hotels. It offers parks, trails, and a safe, family-friendly atmosphere. However, being located at the far end of Tampa Bay, the waterfront is not very appealing. For real seaside experiences, the breathtaking white-sand beaches of Clearwater are just 20–30 minutes away. Overall, Oldsmar works best as a stopover or a convenient base rather than a final destination.

I have stayed here several times since opening and unfortunately this was a huge disappointment. I am originally from the Clearwater/Largo area but choose to stay here when I’m home to visit because of the suites, kitchen, and location. Not sure why, but things were different this time. The bedding was dirty, the sofa mattress was soiled, the microwave and kitchen light weren’t working. The bathroom shower molding was very dirty. The day manager was not very pleasant when attempting to accommodate my needs. Maintenance was friendly but didn’t return as promised to fix the light. Cleaning staff finished my floor without coming to my room but returned hours later. It’s unfortunate that I will be looking for another hotel for my visit in next month. Let me be clear - prior to this experience I would rate this hotel a 5 and DEFINITELY recommend to others but this was a HUGE disappointment! The location is great and close to everything.
