The room was fine; for the price; I had no problem alone. The internet signal was very weak, even so I was able to work well. Due to the location of the hotel ir also did not have a good cell data signal.

Oh, we would have LOVED to have taken boat rides!! We would have loved to explore the Mississippi! Downtown looked fun but we didn't have time to explore. Many places to shop and eat at. Didn't go to any art places or museums.

There were enough attractions to keep us busy for a weekend. Great selection of coffee shops. Taxes in Illinois are appreciably higher than in surrounding areas. Appreciated Moline’s proximity to Iowa where, at this time, gas prices were a dollar a gallon cheaper.

We were there for a school athletic event. The hotel was spotless and all the staff were kind, respectful and helpful. They were able to answer our questions about the town itself. We will be coming back next year for the soccer tournaments and staying at the Hilton Garden Inn for sure!

The Wi-Fi wasn’t very well.

The Wi-Fi wasn’t very well. Everything else was great with the hotel. Do not like your policy of charging $100 in case they were damages and then reimbursing it. That room should be checked before for damages and if their damages, then the extra money is charged not to charge it and then reimburse it. I have never been to a hotel that’s done that before.

Rock Island is a very welcoming city located in western Illinois on the banks of the Mississippi River. There are many locally owned shops downtown - know as The District by locals. I found some GREAT deals too! A heads up though, if you do not drive, there will be transportation challenges. With a limited bus system and Lyft/Uber availability spotty at best, you will need to be prepared to do a lot of walking if here without a vehicle. Rock Island, originally Fort Armstrong, was built on the island in 1816 and was the headquarters of operations in the Black Hawk War (1832), in which Chief Black Hawk and his people were forced out of Illinois. Laid out in 1835 as Stephenson, the community was renamed Rock Island and incorporated as a town in 1841. I suggest if you want a break from your world you consider Rock Island, Illinois!

The tv in the room. required the check in person to get it re connected. Then it took 10-15 minutes to warm up. This happened twice andI said to her "I take it you have done this before?" She said "oooohh yessss!!!"

I haven't been to Bettendorf before but I was actually quite impressed. Looks like they have worked hard to improve the city. I'd definitely stay again some time. We went to an awesome concert, then a couple bars after the concert. Very cute and fun. We used a taxi service so that helped not to have to drive in the city or have to park. The Hotel gives you cards with taxi services. Very helpful I look forward to our next visit.

East Moline is not a very attractive small city - many houses and commercial buildings not maintained very well or vacant. The shopping areas are limited and this city does not offer much in terms of recreation.

I wouldn't refer to this as a hotel, it's more like an Airbnb in an apartment building, with limited front desk availability and less predictability you'd expect. There were some concerning issues during my stay including an unexpected charge at check-in that wasn't clearly, explained, the room not being properly cleaned before arrival and basic items like towels missing at check-in. I also noticed a security issue with a broken door latch. When I reviewed the final invoice, the charge at check-in appeared to be related to a daily "linen exchange" fee, even though I didn't request or receive linen service. When I asked about it, I was told it was "included," which was confusing since it was listed as a seperate charge. On the positive side, the staff were pleasant, the rooms have great features and the location can't be beat. It could be a good option for someone staying long-term for work and looking for an apartment-style set up, but based on my experience I wouldn't choose to stay here again.
