Loved Chicago. In a short trip, I managed to visit Soldier Field for Chicago Fire match, baseball at Wrigley Field, river boat tour, Millennium Park and the bean, and the Skyview experience at Willis, Sears Tower. But the best bit of Chicago, was using their city bikes Divvy to get around and cycle by the lake.

It was a business trip so I didn't have much time to do anything, but I did walk around and admire the huge variety of old and new buildings, a bit of "Lower Wacker", Hello Kitty Cafe, the world's largest Starbucks and the Harry Potter shop. The architectural tour is a must.

Visited for the marathon, must do a archtectural river cruse and visit the John Hancock observation deck. Shopping is amazing and Navy Pier is worth a walk. Visit the United Arena for Basketball, Ice Hockey or even a concert. Deep pan Pizza is a must and a meal or drinks at Trump Towers on the outside deck for the best city views and food. No car needed, Ubers are the way ahead.

The architecture is great.

The architecture is great. Weather was great while we were there which was a bonus, other than one evening / night. Caught a Blackhawks game and while we were no ice hockey fans, really enjoyed the experience. You will want to do the Hancock building anyway but it didn't measure up against the Sears/Willis Towers which was much better.. The bus tour and river architectural tour were excellent. We did the Adler Planetarium and the Aquarium which were OK I guess, nothing special. We stayed south of the river [just] and did quite a bit of walking. The paths were excellent especially alongside the Lake shore, the river walk and up to Lincoln Park and the Zoo and around Millennium and Grant Park. The paths were flat and well surfaced. A few homeless guys in the parks which unfortunately is not unusual today, but they kept themselves to themselves. Very nice clean walks with a lot of cyclists, roller skaters, runners and fellow walkers. All in all, better than New York and would definitely recommend and consider going back at some point.

The city offers different things for different people! The city is clean overall but lots of trashes on local streets and under bridges! In general cost of foods is very high! However, the transportation is convenient and affordable! Names of the transportation stops are very well named!

I love the vibrancy of Chicago and have visited at least 4 times. The traffic in the city has got way worse and it seemed to take ages to get anywhere! Really will book a hotel in downtown next time. The Obama Presidential Library was the highlight of the trip and visiting with family.

Wonderful city with lots of trips and sightseeing to do. Residents were friendly and food was exceptional. Highly recommend a visit to Fulton Market which reminded me Camden/Shoreditch in London. Really good vibes with excellent venues.
