The location is amazing, in a hip neighbourhood full of restaurants, 15 mins L train ride from the centre. Everything about the hotel is amazing. Roof top and restaurant is top notch. The bed is extremely comfortable. The staff was lovely. We liked every minute of it and definitely will be back.

Our stay at The Robey in Chicago lasted just one night, as we came to the city to attend a Denzel Curry concert at the nearby venue, The Salt Shed. The hotel turned out to be an excellent choice – mainly due to its convenient location and proximity to the Blue Line train station, which provides easy access to both the city center and the airport. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with information – something that means a lot when visiting a city for the first time. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay with great connections and welcoming service.

Chicago has excellent public transportation.

Chicago has excellent public transportation. I traveled from Denver CO to Chicago for a one day dragon boat race, then had three days to tour the city. Purchased a 7-day CTA pass for $20, probably didn't break even, but convenience was worth it. Big Chinatown, packed during a street festival weekend. Visited Obama Center complex, much appreciated!

A city that is extremely pretty and underrated. The river cruise, the train and the bus system were awesome. Learn about the underground pedway before you go there, to stay away from the weather conditions.

I've been to Chicago many times, but somehow had never made it to Ohio Street Beach. What a hidden gem right in the heart of the city! The view of the skyscrapers from the beach is absolutely gorgeous. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful city with lots of trips and sightseeing to do. Residents were friendly and food was exceptional. Highly recommend a visit to Fulton Market which reminded me Camden/Shoreditch in London. Really good vibes with excellent venues.

Love the City and all it has to offer tourists. Its clean and well maintained and just works! As an International Traveller and Visitor, I enjoyed the sights and sounds of the city. To me it was almost like visiting a movie set.

This is my fourth time staying at the River Hotel. 1 - always excellent and fast accommodation, 2 - the best location in Downtown Chicago, 3 - always the lowest price in Downtown Chicago compared to other hotels. 4 - excellent service and when I asked to change an electrical appliance, replace my coffee machine (I don't drink coffee, it's bad for my heart and forms cancer cells!!!) with an electric kettle, and after 20 minutes they brought it to my room. I only drink black and green tea. I recommend everyone to stay at this hotel!!!!

Historic hotel in a prime location directly opposite Buckingham Fountain. Everything in downtown Chicago is within walking distance, and the Loop stop is just around the corner. Friendly staff, renovated corner room very large and with good beds and a direct view of the Willis Tower from the bed. You can sense the history of the building and feel like you've been transported back in time.
