Our room was clean, had a nice layout, with top notch bathroom supplies, shower lotions, paper products, etc. Dante's restaurant had very good food and a hard working staff. All in all, we highly recommend the Sanibel Inn and plan on staying there again.

Loved the location to the beach and the quietness of the area. Sad to see the devastation from Hurricane Ian but the property itself was put back together very nicely.

Sanibel Island has come a long way since the hurricane 3...
Sanibel Island has come a long way since the hurricane 3 years ago. This is the perfect place to come to unplug, stroll the beach, and search for that perfect shell. There are bike paths throughout the island and many quaint shops and excellent restaurants. For more casual dining, try Doc Ford's Rum Bar and Grill. If you are in the mood for something a bit more upscale, Wickies Lighthouse Restaurant can't be beat!
If you are looking for a place that is not commercialized and has that old beach town charm, book your trip to Sanibel Island!

Captiva is a charming town that is very walkable.
Captiva is a charming town that is very walkable. The beach is also beautiful. There a a few restaurants but little shopping so come prepared to do outdoor activities or read by the pool. It is not a location for nightlife.

Captiva is beautiful and so is the South Seas resort- but...
Captiva is beautiful and so is the South Seas resort- but this condo although part of S. Seas- it is not treated as the other properties are at the resort. I think South Seas wishes they didn't have to deal with it- as I kept hearing-' That condo has nothing to do with us'
They treated it as the black sheep/ red headed step child of the family- loud maintenance work each day/ repaving of the lot/ and the pool area was neglected (clean enough but so scarce and plain- can we get a landscaper or some decorator in to give it some LIFE)
Thank goodness the folks at Rosen properties are cognizant and polite- to apologize for the issues- hopefully they can make this place more desirable!

Only thing I would suggest is this: provide coffee filters and salt &pepper shakers. Barbecue grill needed gas, also.
Otherwise Sunshine had everything we needed.
Noseeums were AWFUL!

The beach was lovely.
The beach was lovely. The grounds were pretty, but the accommodations were dirty. We were hit with suprise extra fees upon arrival. They don't take cash. The staff was friendly, but we could not get help when we needed it.
