It's location was perfect and there is so much to do at the resort. We were there during the summer and the alpine slide was a BLAST! We rode it over and over again. Gondola to the top was awesome too. A lot of places there and in town close REALLY early, but they just don't seem to have staff to keep them open later, so be prepared for that. It might be different during the winter when their ski season is in full swing. No AC, so since they were on the warmer side of July it was a little stuffy in our room, but the box fans provided kept the cool air moving from outside, so it wasn't a bid deal.

So many trails its hard to choose which to do!

So many trails its hard to choose which to do! A sweet local lady told us about Jim Creek Trail. She said it was a very accessible hike with a waterfall at the end. Her suggestion to start at second trailhead was spot on! We didn't make it to the waterfall because we started at 6pm and stopped too many times to take pictures along the way! The drive on the dirt road to Jim creek inspired me to look for more 4x4 trails and we took County Rd 80 up the Corona Pass and oh boy was that amazing. Drove up with a stock '18 F150 and had a blast! Went slow and had no issues up or down picking careful lines on some rough parts. Parked 14 miles up since it was closed past that due to snow at the peak still. Some beautiful hiking up there! Trestle bike park was a blast and has options from beginner to expert. Virginia Canyon in Idaho Springs 45 min away was fun too but for intermediate and up! Food in town was great. Sharkys and Rollin Street Bakery were very good breakfast spots!

Beautiful little town.

Beautiful little town. Very convenient location to access the resorts nearby. We did notice most of the restaurants close on Sunday in the early afternoon, with only a couple available for dinner. We enjoyed the Fuego Azteca authentic Mexican cuisine, the place was packed!

We stayed here for Thanksgiving week, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. The views are impeccable from every room, and the home instantly made us feel comfortable and welcome. The host was incredibly polite and responded quickly to every question we had such a refreshing experience, especially after dealing with rude hosts in the past. The heated floors in the downstairs bathrooms were one of our favorite features, especially since that’s where my mom was staying. The hot tub was another huge highlight, perfect for relaxing after a long day of skiing. We had brought our own cooking utensils but didn’t even need them because the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could think of. This home made our Thanksgiving week unforgettable.Warm thanks from our family in Texas!

Beautiful home and location we could live there. Unfortunately, as a rental several things could be kept up better, Kitchen counters were wiped cleaned but were still sticky. As with most homes little things needed attention front door key was struck I had to lightly lubricate the lock to make it operate smoothly, First floor bath panel was loose and fell a couple of times, try to keep up on the pest spraying numerous spiders were killed. Unfortunately, the power went out the day before we were to leave. With no feedback from the guest contact and the prospect of having no lights or water we had to leave a day early. Evolve did not offer to reimburse us for the day we lost.

Winter Park is close to Denver compared to other large ski...

Winter Park is close to Denver compared to other large ski resorts, but the mountain itself is smaller and there are not that many bases or bowls to distribute the crowd, so you can easily get trapping in lines. But the snow condition is great, and the view is nice.

We were there the first weekend of October and the weather...

We were there the first weekend of October and the weather was lovely and we got to see the Aspen fall colors. We also road the Fraser River Trail to Winter Park Resort. The river was beautiful and the ride was great!

The four days that we spent in Winter Park were just enough.

The four days that we spent in Winter Park were just enough. During this time, we went skiing, snow tubing, and snowmobiling. It snowed every day which made conditions for the above super! If we were to spend one more day we would have went to the Rocky Mountain National Park. All in all, a wonderful time in Winter Park with absolutely some of the most beautiful scenery that we have ever seen!

We were there for work.

We were there for work. For two nights the condo’s lights and internet did not work. We contacted management and they promised to send someone to fix, but no one arrived. Terrible maintenance follow up. The condo is very nice but hard to enjoy in the dark.
