Our check in experience was outstanding, we arrived late and they had a couple of sandwiches so we were not hungry. Room was quite spacious, air con and fan, useful amenities and cold water in teh fridge as well. The facilities were super nice, there were water filling stations averywhere. Breakfast was really good, but I need to mention that the bakery stuff were superb. Food in general was very good. Staff were so accommodating and lovely, and even though were are staying a couple of nights in another resort, we will go back for the dinner show tomorrow. Concierge was really helpful. Snowkelling gear, kayak and paddleboards to use. Happy hour on a few drinks and thematic dinners. Thanks for making our anniversary so special!

We loved the location, the beach right by us, the food was delcious and the staff so helpful! We loved the frech tast, the fish with coconut and pineapple sauce. We loved the warm water and the snorkeling right at our front door. Some of the family stayed in the over water fales and really loved that as well. I liked the beach front rooms. The staff cleaned our clothes that we needed cleaning at a very reasonable price.

Chris runs a well-oiled operation - everything is sorted and it's immaculately clean. The site is just stunning and beautifully arranged in the little, private cove. The gardens are lush and super well-kept. The staff are lovely. It's clear they take care of the buildings and grounds well.

I really liked the stay Olivia’s Accomodation. Lucy was so friendly and gave me great advice about getting around the Island. The breakfast isn’t too big - but everything you need. It’s been around for a long time, and that is for a good reason.

Great Location an facilities. Beach was beautiful, though it was rough due to to large ocean swell and a small reef. Ocean swimming not ideal for children, but the resort swimming pools covered that. Resort food was nice and reasonably priced.

We enjoyed the natural scenery. It brought a sense of peace, being away from the hustle and bustle of Apia City. We were relaxed and found ourselves half of our stay in the beautiful water (reef lagoon).

Staff needs proper training there was no order … had my perfumes stolen from my room and the girls at front desk was video chatting with her boyfriend while attending to my request…it’s a beautiful place but the management is poor at supervising their staffs … my bathroom shower was so slow and the water wouldn’t drain properly… everyone there was not attentive to my needs they were to busy chatting with each other… I would not stay there again

It is not easy to give a review of a location in Samoa as one needs a car to get around and a lot of Samoa just looks the same when driving around. It is a beautiful island. One needs a car to get to beautiful water falls, swimming holes, etc.

Beautiful beaches, stunning scenery all over the island. Having a rental car is a good idea as there are distances between resorts and tourist spots. Namua Island is worth a visit. Nora de Explorer does great half day and day tours.

I travelled there 16 years ago and there has been lots of great development since then. The new market is set to open soon and thre has been improved traffic management with more lights and a new bridge connecting the port etc. There is also so more better resorts and hotel options available now! The main issue for the government is that there is an urgent need to be address the public litter problem as it is a major deterrent. The problem is that there are not enough public bins on the streets and most people are not bothering to go into shops to drop their rubbish.

Le Vasa is on the East side of the Island and 20 minute drive from the main international airport. I would go again as I wanted a total relax and that's what I had. I chose to go on a tour to the West side and also caught the local buses into Apia which is an essential cultural experience, I learnt so much about respect on those buses. Everyone I met so willing to share stories and answer any questions I had about the culture. Very respectful and caring staff.

Samoa has so many great eating places.

Samoa has so many great eating places. There are also many hotels and motels to choose from depending on budgets. I've liked all the hotels I've stayed at. I prefer hotels to AirBnB as the power and Wifi are often included -you need both for air con and internet which in my experience you have to pay extra for at AirBnBs. We ate at Amanaki, Giordanos, Scallinis, Coffee Roasters, Pacific Jewell, Curry House, Immaculate Cafe and Mr Chippies. All were very delicious! We got our rental cars from Global Travel through Jackie -very nice Hyndai Creta -clean and in great condition. Other companies we've used are AA Rentals, and Avis. Samoa is very beautiful and a must for any traveller. For beach stays, start at Maninoa Beach before heading out to the other beach fales! For hotels, I've stayed at Lava Hotel, Tanoa Hotel, Sheraton, Taumeasina and Alec Motel. There's something for everyone but it pays to book early especially if you want to travel during Christmas season as hotels often get fully booked out early. I have not tried staying in Savaii yet, maybe on my next trip!
