A wonderful place just few minutes from the airport. The chef is fantastic and you can walk around the lake in full security. You’re going to think it’s weird but… I always wanted to try a South African Sun 1, in Belgium we call them Formul 1, just to compare and I can clearly say that the South African version is even better (private bathroom was so lekker!!!). For me those hotels are synonyms of beginning of vacation, when you stop for the night along the road on your way to Holliday, and that was clearly that warm and comfy feeling from my childhood I had at Sun 1! Not disappointed at all. Comfy place, clean, adorable staff, quiet,… I’ve nothing negative to say.

Wonderful team, warm and welcoming reception, and absolutely delicious food – both the dinner (arranged in advance) and the breakfast were outstanding. The room was spacious, the common areas were beautiful and inviting, and the garden was lovely. Since it was cold, we couldn’t enjoy the pool, but everything else was just perfect. A truly wonderful way to say goodbye to South Africa.
