Hotel in Sea Point, Cape Town
Located in Cape Town, 300 metres from Broken Bath Beach, Pineapple House Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking and a shared lounge. If we could give this hotel 6 stars out of 5, we would! We booked Pineapple house for the price & cute decor—it exceed all expectations. It’s in the Seaport district, so it’s within walking distance to the water, Mojo Market (food hall!), the boardwalk that takes you to the V&A waterfront (easy walk on a nice day!), and a quick uber to anywhere else. This area is more quaint, with cuter, nicer restaurants and shops than Long street. The room was adorable with the different textures and wallpaper. We had plenty of space and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is phenomenal. I didn't really think I'd care bc as a foodie, I was excited to roam to a nice brunch spot! But this IS a nice brunch spot. In the States, when we see "breakfast included" we think cold croissants and boxed cereal. This was not that. They’ll make you a variety of coffee drinks and whatever hot breakfast you want (omelets, eggs benedict, etc.) in addition to their cold buffet of fruit, yogurt, granola, and baked goods. I swear the fruit tastes better in South Africa. We always started the day off with a full stomach and start exploring immediately! The mini bar in your room is fully stocked ($1-$3 max!), televisions have Netflix pre-loaded, and there are full bottles of wine and liquor in the lobby you can take to your room and enjoy. We had a delicious rose from Creation for only ($20/bottle). A little bonus: The first night we arrived at midnight and the hotel manager, Lewis, walked us to McDonald’s bc we were so hungry and everything was closed. It was several blocks away and he even waited with us while they prepared our food. Above and beyond customer service. The entire staff was so accommodating. We stayed here 4 nights and each night was perfect. If you stay here, don't forget to bring cash to tip the site manager, chef, waitress, and maid each day. We tipped ~100ZAR per person/day.

The vibrant Waterfront and the great restaurants. Visiting Table Mountain and the views on the way and from the top. The brilliant Citibus with a lot more choices of where you can go now. Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are beautiful. The beaches in the western Cape are stunning as are the vineyards,Simon’s Town and the penguins. Hermanus is also worth a visit and if you’re lucky (which we have been) you’ll see the whales, so much to see and do , it is as they say “a world in one Country”!!!
The Karoo has its own unique beauty. Nelspoort is a lovely place to overnight on the N1 between Gauteng / Free State / Northern Cape and the Western Cape. Far less crowded than Beaufort West during peak season with some lovely farms to explore.
A great place to visit.Oak tree lined streets with gorgeous period properties,Lots of reasonably priced bars, restaurants and cafes,All set in a stunning location Would make a great base for visiting Western Cape
Its a beautiful part of the Western Cape close enough to CapeTown far enough to not be too hectic in the Summer close to beaches and shops lovely wine farms beautiful scenery. We have a young daughter so mostly stayed at home to Eatbut we did go to Mont Marie Restaurant on Christmas Day I would recommend it for couples and Familes
wilderness is a little paradise hidden between knysna and goerge and has such a vibey atmosphere. a must see and filled with many hidden Gems of different amazing restuarants. the people are extremely friendly and the views of the mountains and ocean is absolutely breath taking. the western capes paradise.
We visited the city and the western cape, enjoyed all our stay on the cost and in land..visited Montagu,Cers,Porterville (passing through),Langebaan for 4 days then Yzerfontein and the fossil park near by then back to Cape Town ..
Patternoster is a must visit location for any travellers in the Western Cape. A beautiful beach, magnificent sunsets and great restaurants.
Love Cape Town and the Western Cape! Can't wait to visit again. It's just a magical city and province.
A beautiful, clean and well looked after town. Had the opportunity to visit the Saturday Market. A great experience. The majestic Outeniquas add to the ambience. It is a place to visit if you seek beauty, serenity and peace. Knysna, Wilderness and Sedgefield are close by and also worth a visit. Victoria Bay is beautiful. Visiting George brings us city dwellers closer to nature and we were reminded how beautiful the Western Cape is.
i was not able to see the whole place but no body really cared about anyone. it was business as usual which was good. it is near the airport and the wine route. near university of western cape. it is along the main roads to anywhere in cape town. we went to Capetown and wine tasting
I enjoyed the hotel vibe, very clean...Amazing swimming pool. A very special thanks to the Breeze restaurant: The breakfast was amazing and exceptionally tasty. We all enjoyed every single meal and every single drink we had 😋. As I am writing this review I still feel the taste of the freshly baked croissant it reminds me of the French croissant. Thank you for the delicious food you made for us. It was my best restaurant during my trip in the Western Cape.
Melkbosstrand
we made a three week trip through the western cape and changed hotels quite frequently. although we have loved all hotels so far, this one was the first that felt like home and was hard to leave. The staff will go the extra mile just to accommodate you. also, we had the entire house to ourselves for almost all of our five night stay. So it felt like we got more than just our luxurious bedroom to ourselves.
Greyton
Via's rooms are situated in a garden behind Via's restaurant. There are garden tables and chairs were one could sit and read read or have coffee, tea, wine etc.. All the rooms are comfortable and large. At night the atmoshere was quiet and I had a peaceful sleep, There was quite a large selection on the menu. I regularly stay in hotels and guesthouses in the Western Cape. I recommend Via's.
Kalk Bay
This property is in a great location for exploring the Western Cape by car. The views from both levels of the apartment are stunning. Kalk Bay centre is only a short walk away where there are some great restaurants and boutique shops. The presence of the communal washing machine in the main property allows you to reduce the amount of clothing you need to take with you for the two weeks.
Paternoster
Most comfy bed in the Western Cape, felt like we were staying in a 5 star hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially as we were travelling with a young baby. Nothing was too much trouble, even toys and a baby towel awaited us in the cot which was provided! We will recommend Smugglers Cottage to everyone. Breakfast was also a highlight!
Everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. We had already been travelling for 10 days starting from Northern Cape to Eastern Cape to Western Cape, staying in many hotels and BB's along the way, and decided to stay ONE night in Knysna on our way home to JHB. We loved Knysna as well Knysna Log Hotel we booked an extra night.
A lovely, comfortable apartment with plenty of thoughtful touches, which were much appreciated. This is the sixth place we have stayed in during our Western Cape tour and it was by far the best. Moree is a lovely host and we definitely plan to return. Good location, lovely and clean and great shower!
The room was so clean and the entire hotel is spacious and welcoming. The pool was a treat during one of the hottest weekends in the Western Cape. The dinner was delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and went out of their way to assist us. I was so impressed and grateful.
Worcester
Best price/value hotel in the western cape.. good vibes/ at home feeling.. one of the most comfy places ever :) Shout out to our AWESOME waitress Portia! actually deciding on staying here a bit longer :)
Thanks Munchkins Travel Agency had the best stay in Capetown , from the suites at Best Western Cape Suites Hotel and Breakfast. Everything was perfect.
Its always such a treat to myself staying at The Bay Hotel. The rooms with an ocean view are simply magical. breakfasts are incredible, and the staff are very welcoming and helpful, always making you feel like royalty. Caamils bar is my favorite place to enjoy a glass of wine and enjoy the fire place. i cant wait to return.
Location, cleanliness, caring staff and strict adherence to lockdown requirements
The staff were most helpful, welcoming and friendly, they also advised us on which activities were better suitable for the current weather conditions. They made our stay in Capetown unforgettable experience.
This is a fantastic place to experience 4 of the 'big 5' along the Garden Route. We planned to spend just one night and to do a jeep safari, but as soon as we arrived we decided to stay 2 nights and also did 2 horseback safaris and a picnic lunch. The whole place is beautiful, comfortable and well run. The staff really care about their animals and want to show them off when they can. The Game Reserve is huge, and seeing the animals on horseback was an amazing experience. We both wish we could have stayed longer. We stayed in a 'tent' lodge, which was comfortable with the 2 of us and a heater, and the outdoor shower was terrific! The food in the restaurant was excellent too.
Kagga Kamma was amazing❤️ from the moment we stepped in until our departure....
Nice breakfast, additional facilities for small children. Our 1 year old loved the play area and tractors. Unfortunately the weather was bad and we could use the pool and beach area. Looks great and makes me want to go back in summertime.
The day shift security at the gate and night shift was excellent and friendly and though
Excellent combination of water features. Thoroughly enjoy myself. Wonderful to warm our cold winter bones soaking in the Baths. Also went for a hike to the top of the mountain with great views and intermingle with the bird song and wildlife.
We had a really great stay. Houseboat could have been a bit cleaner- counters, bathroom mirror, floors. It would be nice to have some basic catering amenities- oil, salt and pepper.
