The hotel is very well positioned with amazing views from the roo. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were very polite and helpful. This was my first time in Clarens but I think the Protea Hotel is probably the best accomodation in the town.

Our cottage was extremely neat, clean, functional and tasteful. The garden is incredibly beautiful! The location is perfect and within walking distance of the town centre. The owners were available and gave us lots of tips about places to eat and attractions in the area. They also brought a lovely bottle of wine for my husband to celebrate his 70th birthday. We will definitely stay here again and again.
