The lodge is perfect ,beautiful views and the owner is heaven sent , she was always there to assist.The staff is very respectful and always cater to every need(special mention to Rose).
This is the perfect gateaway, and we were so sad to leave.
The rooms are cleaned daily, good wifi and the dam view is so surreal.
The breakfast was always on point and having coffee while listening to lions roaring from the nearby zoo in the background is magical

Breakfast was fabulous. Setting was amazing. Service was out of this world. The food at the restaurant was really good and we didn’t feel the need to look elsewhere for meals. The view was spectacular and the ambiance dreamlike. We stayed in one of the tents that was the perfect balance of authentic bushveld camping experience and luxury necessities.

The place is fantastic quiet and peaceful , it's close to the mall, close to entertainment. The owner is so friendly, we were assisted everyway.how could I forget Timothy, he is such a lovely soul. It felt like we were out of south Africa. I can't wait to visit again soon. This is a lovely place to be if you want to enjoy Hartbeespoort.

The breakfast was very nice and fresh and the variety is accomodating everyone's diet.
As for the time you should at least extend to 10h00, because as a traveller you want to sleep a bit late sometimes.
The venue is next to entertainment facilities its a plus for travellers. Can you please send me details of any specials available.

I literally loved everything. My husband and I stayed at Club Cocomo for our honeymoon, and we had such a wonderful time. We will definitely visit them again. The staff and specialy Rose were so kind, she kept us company everytime we went swimming or just sitting outside. Well done Cocomo 👏.

Amazing Lodge on Valkoop dam. We stayed at tent no.3. Amazing! Absolutely luxery and remote in the bush. Can feel the traquility and still sarrounded by lot of wild life. Lodge staff, rangers very kind and responsive.

All the activities were great!!!
All the activities were great!!!Except we could not enjoy boat rides because of the hyacinth.
The Mulligans restaurant was a great place to hang out.
Quad biking was my favourite activity at the Harties safari.
Uber and Bolt were not much of a problem.

We loved that it was in the middle of nowhere and we came prepared to experience all the nature and the different activities the resort had to offer. The weather was not playing along but that didn’t stop us from having fun. Pity paintball did t happen it we enjoy the Super tube, Zip line, quad bikes ( which accommodated our 8 year old), Archery 🏹. On our way out, we saw a giraffe 🦒 which was really exciting and a ting green snake 🐍 crossing the road. The place had activities for both our kids (8 and 15 years).

We arrived on Fri, 15 Nov, and was very happy with the reception and treatment we received. We found the staff generally very helpful and we were treated well.
I recently had a hip replacement, and found the communal seating area extremely uncomfortable. There were chairs that were placed in the bar area, but sometimes it felt as if you were waiting for a doctor’s appointment. The bucket wicker chairs did not even have comfortable cushions on them, resulting in one feeling as if you are sitting on a church bench. I wanted to watch the rugby (SA vs Eng), but after 15 minutes, I couldn’t sit there any longer. The seats outside the chalets are also terrible. Steel-framed chairs with a small cushion to sit on – nothing that allowed you to relax properly.
Then, on Saturday afternoon, we joined to boat cruise. Upon our return, the engine cut out and the ranger battled to get it started, resulting in a radio call to the resort for assistance. During dinner, the rangers asked us if everything was still to our liking. My wife asked the ranger if this engine cutout has happened before. To our surprise, the ranger (who apparently has only been there for a month), confessed that it has happened before. Quite clearly, it points to a lack of proper maintenance on the boat.
Our big highlight was the spa. We had a treatment that was really of good quality.
Overall it wasn’t a bad weekend, but according to our experience at other 4-star resorts, Finfoot doesn’t rate extremely highly.

I recently spent two incredible days at this beautiful and peaceful place, and it exceeded all my expectations. The chalets are spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. I particularly loved the outdoor shower—it’s such a refreshing and unique experience! The jacuzzi was another highlight, perfect for unwinding after a day of relaxation.
The service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff who made the stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a serene escape surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking peace, comfort, and tranquility."

We loved the nature sounds, the birds and the peace and quiet. We booked our stay to have a getaway from the city and this location was perfect. Sun on the mountains, a lovely breeze, clean air. Beautiful trees and lots of nature. The jacuzzi is amazing!

some really nice eateries in the area.
sad to see so many animals behind bars. conservation is one aspect, but some animals should not be kept in an unnatural habitat where they are visibly destressed. some encounters were enjoyable, but sadly one cannot ignore the fact that some facilities are not suited to keep caged animals.

Brits has great industry but the town itself is run down.
Brits has great industry but the town itself is run down. They should replace the inactive traffic lights with roundabouts and should work in their roads and pavements and general upkeep of the area. It looks a mess.

Pelindaba is an absolutely beautiful place, lots to see and experience in the area and easy to navigate. There are activities for the family, kids and adults alike. Found it a bit more expensive, almost as if catering more towards the international travellers and not for the locals. The area is well kept and seems safe.
