United KingdomI call this spot 'Zara's little gem'. My husband and I loved our 3 night stay. Car port outside. Private entrance. Window on the road is private as well. Table and chairs outside. Aircon was available. WiFi was available even with load shedding. Great communication from Zara from start to finish. Was allowed to check in early and leave late.

Our stay at Blaauw Village Guesthouse was really amazing. The room was truly excellent and wonderful for a duo couple or small family.
The breakfasts were always fresh and wonderfully prepared.
However the real highlight of our stay, was the laughs we shared with Jason, the manager. He really brightened up our mornings, took excellent care of us and showed a lot of respect for his staff. We really enjoyed our stay.

loubergstrand is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. The beach is absolutely breathtaking, with soft white sand and the most incredible views of Table Mountain across the ocean. Watching the sunset here is unforgettable — the sky turns shades of orange, pink, and purple while the waves roll in.
The area is clean, peaceful, and perfect for long walks along the beach. There are lovely restaurants and cafés nearby where you can sit outside and enjoy the ocean view. It feels relaxed but still lively, with friendly people and a great atmosphere.
If you want a place that truly shows the natural beauty of South Africa, Bloubergstrand is perfect. Whether you're relaxing on the beach, taking photos of Table Mountain, or enjoying a sunset dinner, it’s simply magical. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would come back again anytime!

Awesome place.
Awesome place. We probably chose the best three days in the last 12 months to be on the beach. Busy but uncluttered beach with restaurants in close proximity. Strongly recommended if avoiding massive crowds is your thing.

Beaches are excellent for kiteboarding when the wind is up and beautiful for beach strolls, swimming and surfing on a windless day. There are many restaurants and shops close to the beach which is very handy.
Views of Cape Town from Bloubergstrand is absolutely word class!

Melkbostrand is a quite nice sea side village on the start/...
Melkbostrand is a quite nice sea side village on the start/end of the wildflower route on the West coast. Very relaxed with very good restaurants and a small convenient mall. The only nu clear plant in SA is closed by and entrance to their wildlife park is for free. They also have a information centre explaining how nu clear power is created.
Best place to take spectacular pictures of Table Mountain.

Perfect location. Beautiful apartment setup. Right temperature for the shower. we were only bothered by a smoking neighbor, and the smoke was penetrating through our apartment. We easily accessed the V&A, drove to the Table Mountain then cooled down at Camps Bay. I would definitely stay again if go to the Cape on vacation.

Beautiful little village feel. Lovely for a weekend break and the location is picturesque.
Big tip: book online at the restaurants before you come. Most places only accept online bookings and they get full really quickly!!
