Property was perfect for a night's stay. Braai facility was big and had everything we needed. Lots of chickens roaming around which was entertaining. Place was very clean and had everything we needed for a night's stay. Very quiet and peaceful.

I stayed at Loxton Nessie while travelling for work and it was an absolute gem.
The cottage is beautiful, tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail feels thoughtfully considered, making it a truly relaxing and welcoming space to come back to after long workdays.
It’s perfectly located: close to the centre of Loxton, yet wonderfully peaceful. Debbie, who greeted me on arrival, was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made the stay even more special.
Loxton Nessie is a charming, high-quality cottage and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. I would gladly stay here again.

A badly run-down town with no good shops, places of interest...
A badly run-down town with no good shops, places of interest or restaurants worth stopping. Very unfriendly people at The Lord's Kitchen restaurant and right next to a loud Shibeen. Unfortunately, this town disappointed 100%.

The Hotel was priced right, was clean, had more facilities than we 1st thought.The decor and attention to detail is nostalgic and wonderful. On arrival there are locals begging around your car, but once you are on the grounds of the hotel you realize that you are safe, secure and are soon "transported" to the surroundings of a bygone era.
