The photographs don't do this stunning place justice. Cleanest facility I've ever stayed at. Netflix In room. Aircont too. I left some underwear in a basin to soak. When I got back from the shop they were washed and dried and folded neatly. I wondered to the pool. Within moments the Host was taking out some small twigs and bugs that had blown in. Two umbrellas were put up for me with an amazing chair (even a comfy pillow) but what warmed my heart the most was the Lilo he blew up with his own face for me and he put on a beautiful water feature just for me 😀 I might very well come stay again on my way back. Also he sent his son to get me takeaways as I was really bushed. Not sure how he gets a super host status. But it should be doubled ! What a beautiful place to stay.

Great cooking facilities with a very accommodating host. Best self-catering units I've had to date by a country mile. Spacious with a great working area & comfy. Full DSTV which was an added bonus

Venue so beautiful, what you see on the pics is what you get. Host/reception brilliant, very professional and when I did not check in at 14:00 they called to find out if I had any problem. They are the best. Cradock is just fine

It so peaceful and the facilities are clean. They kitchen is in a beautiful setting and is well equipped and a huge braai.
The tents are beautiful and comfortable and the staff are so helpful and friendly. We will be back!

The residents are very friendly and helpful. They will always offer assistance when asked or even when they notice you are unsure about something.
Although the town looks under-developed, I noticed progress with regards to the resurfacing of some of the poor roads. Progress just seemed very slow.

Old town falling apart due to complete neglect by local authority.
Theft from parked vehicle mid morning in front of municipal building left me without clothing and travel documents.
Tarred streets are in very poor condition, local citizens fill holes with oil soaked ground to try and keep going. Very few street lights working. Water leaks take long to fix.
Trip'n serves good, well priced food in a relaxed setting. Google it!
If you're planning a longer trip, look beyond Cradock and set off to explore the whole country!
