we staid at sloepstil: it is a stailish, lush, on the open field experience! we loved it! its exactli like in the fotos. we felt really safe and locked the doors only when we weren’t around. the evenings were really cold (beginning of october) but there was even a bed heater and lots of blankets to get cosy on the outside sofa. you can cook or grill and the kitchen has everything you need. but you need to love the outside life otherwise i would choose one of the other cottages on the property. the property itself is stunning and the river trail was fabulous.

The beautiful house and it's lovely colorful interior, the stunning view over the beach from our room, the great garden and it's direct location at the beach! What a wonderful house this is!
Some further information about the b&b: rooms are big, beds are comfortable, breakfast had everything you need to start into the day, staff was also very friendly. We did a very long walk on the beach and will never forget this perfect stay!

Great location, out of the world wildlife & a lot of water features. Lovely cottage next to the lake, very spacious. Staff were super friendly.And they cleaned the room every day and changed towels which was a plus point. Breakfast was moderate.

We have spent many holidays caravanning at Wilderness and always loved it ,walking cycling ,beaching, canoeing when we were young but now in our 80s
This time we were en route home so only overnight but enjoyed supper at The Girls

George is a neat and beautiful town, there is many attraction to go to and visit, Transport Museum and the Power Van up the mountain is a must.
Kuyler fish and chips take away, absolutelly delish, and a must
Yes it is very easy to get around in George. Just obey all road rules and markings.
George accomodates for young and older couples, it depends on what you would like to do.

Close to one of the most beautiful beaches in the country, with loads of other attractions nearby as well.

Hoekwil is beautiful with lots to see - there is a big tree nearby which you can visit (make sure to wear comfortable shoes). There are also a few nice places to eat, drink coffee and enjoy the quiet surrounds. The accommodation in the area is also very nice and neat.

Wilderness is where you go to slow down for a bit.
Wilderness is where you go to slow down for a bit. It’s calm, cosy and peaceful. You have everything you need within reach. Tons of activities, like hikes, sports, rowing and it has incredible views. The beach offers something for everyone, a lagoon for peaceful swimming, a powerful ocean for some engaged swimming though it calms down on some days. The restaurants have something for everyone.

the Restaurants and Bars are in walking distances
traffic is not so hectic in the CBD,so a nice place to walk and explore.
The biltong shop is a must visit

It was absolutely beautiful with a sandy beach, and two tidal pools where lots of people were swimming. The accommodation was on the beach front and was beautful. There is a small shop around the corner to supply one's immediate needs. George is only 11 km away with everything one would need.
The weather was perfect. We went to lunch at Dutton Cove's Restaurant- very nice fish and great views as well. There was a troop of monkeys in the surrounding forest. Would recommend Herolds Bay anytime
