Lovely place, the room we booked (deluxe) was so perfect! Beautiful bathroom, big balcony with a fantastic view. The host was super friendly and accommodating and offered us some surprise breakfast the first morning. I really felt comfortable in the space, it was super welcoming. Although we had a beautiful room, we also spent some time in the common area, because it was so beautifully decorated and cosy.
Short walk to town and the beach. I would definitely come here again!

We had The loft. It was a very large apartment with two balconies and a view across the lake. The host had thought of everything we might need, including use of a washing machine and drying frame. It was spotlessly clean and everything worked as it should. We were comfortable and relaxed. The experience helped us to feel rested and refreshed for our next journey along the garden route. The host was friendly and attentive. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Really comfortable rooms in a gorgeous setting. The drive over the mountain from George was stunning, and we were made to feel at home once we arrived. There is a short walk you can do on the property to get a different view of the mountains and valley, a pool, a small play area for kids, and a lovely breakfast available from 8am.

We have spent many holidays caravanning at Wilderness and always loved it ,walking cycling ,beaching, canoeing when we were young but now in our 80s
This time we were en route home so only overnight but enjoyed supper at The Girls

the Restaurants and Bars are in walking distances
traffic is not so hectic in the CBD,so a nice place to walk and explore.
The biltong shop is a must visit

It was absolutely beautiful with a sandy beach, and two tidal pools where lots of people were swimming. The accommodation was on the beach front and was beautful. There is a small shop around the corner to supply one's immediate needs. George is only 11 km away with everything one would need.
The weather was perfect. We went to lunch at Dutton Cove's Restaurant- very nice fish and great views as well. There was a troop of monkeys in the surrounding forest. Would recommend Herolds Bay anytime

Hoekwil is beautiful with lots to see - there is a big tree nearby which you can visit (make sure to wear comfortable shoes). There are also a few nice places to eat, drink coffee and enjoy the quiet surrounds. The accommodation in the area is also very nice and neat.

Recommended for those travellers to do a quality stop over or spend some quality time together for a couple of days. Beautiful view of the sea and the sunset is amazing.
Then you have Nerinne and Danie to make you feel at home.
You have all the facilities right there to braai and kuier.

Wilderness is where you go to slow down for a bit.
Wilderness is where you go to slow down for a bit. It’s calm, cosy and peaceful. You have everything you need within reach. Tons of activities, like hikes, sports, rowing and it has incredible views. The beach offers something for everyone, a lagoon for peaceful swimming, a powerful ocean for some engaged swimming though it calms down on some days. The restaurants have something for everyone.

It is a beautiful town, very well kept.
It is a beautiful town, very well kept. The weather was bad, but there was more than enough to do. We travelled to Knysna and Herolds Bay. Dutton's Cove in Herolds Bay is a must visit. The Knysna Waterfront was excellent. There is a lovely Turkish Restaurant Kafe Serefe in George. We visited Elvis Brew and Sanguin Spa. Naziah was amazing at the Spa. Wonki Ware is a must see. If you're anything like me, take lots of money with. The George parkrun in the Botanical Garden is a must visit. A beautiful run in nature.
