Excellent rooms which were exceptionally comfortable. Really nicely decorated and lots of little extras that helped to make it a restful evening. Danie was very friendly and upgraded us to two rooms instead of one on arrival.

If you blink, you'll miss Hanover, or mistake it only for a truck stop - so think twice. It's just 60km from Richmond, so if you can't find accommodation in Richmond, try Hanover, you won't be disappointed. The team at the Hanover Luxury Hotel makes every effort to take care of passing travelers' needs (be it fixing your aircon or storing your cooler bag). Don't be ignorant and only pay attention to the familiar names and towns ... the road less traveled always rewards in the most unexpected manner.

This is a hidden gem in the Karoo.
This is a hidden gem in the Karoo. It is halfway between Johannesburg and Cape Town. Guests will not believe that such a place exists. It is much better to stay here than in Hanover should you want a quiet stay. Too much noise off the highway with the continuous trucks passing through the town 24/7.

The peace and tranquility was exactly what we needed to get some rest before completing the rest of the journey. Should have stayed at leats 2 nights. There isn't much to do there except rest. Great escape from the long roads and the hustle and bustle of city life
