We had a great stay at misty mountain reserve. The location is amazing and the pictures don’t do it justice. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but we still manage to enjoy the premises.

This place is amazing! The management and staff were brilliant. Our room was very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were sublime. The location is a little remote out in the country but we found it easy to find. There are quite a few animals roaming around the property which we loved seeing.

The staff were incredible - so welcoming, made us feel very much at home. We arrived in a storm and they couldnt do enough to try to settle us in and make sure we were comfortable. The room was warm. The food was amazing with beautiful flavours and staying at the Hives was an absolutely incredible experience that I will always keep with me. There were lots of activities to choose from as well. I cannot recommend highly enough - one of the best parts of our visit to South Africa

What a fantastic place this is! It is not just a stay, it is the whole experience of staying in a lighthouse and even being able to go up into the lighthouse. The restaurant is also great!

Everything was absolutely amazing! The cabin was stunning, with spotless beds and perfect braai facilities. The location is simply breathtaking, tucked away in a beautiful forest that feels peaceful and magical. Being able to get cutlery and crockery from the restaurant was such a great touch, and the air conditioning kept us cool and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast buffets were next-level incredible, truly out of this world. The sparkling swimming pool was an absolute highlight. And the staff… WOW! From the wonderful porter who helped us with our bags to every team member we met, everyone was beyond friendly, incredibly accommodating, and truly made our stay unforgettable.

Beautiful room on the ground floor. Very comfortable and clean. Well equipped. Friendly and accommodating staff. Very nice dining area and comfortable lounge area. Both are shared spaces. Good location. Close to the beach, restaurants & shops. Highly recommend.

Beautiful rooms, wonderful, friendly and social staff and amazing facilities. The restaurant was ok — quite basic food and it took a while to arrive, but very affordable prices. The staff had amazing local knowledge and always tried to help with tips and bookings, the owner tipped us about some beautiful and untouched hikes which we were so happy to experience. The stay was beyond expectation. Great value for money. 10/10 would recommend.
