I had such a fantastic experience both with the rooms, hotel and especially the most kind and lovely personnel. I kept on extending my stay because I felt so comfortable and cared for. The food was fantastic, so I ate all my meals there. I got to experience 3 rooms during my stay, which were all really nicely designed and comfortable.

Beautiful small guesthouse, with very well appointed and comfortable rooms. Lovely gardens and pool, in a very safe environment. You are on the beach in a few minutes walk. Also several restaurants within 10 minutes walk along the seaside boardwalk. Christine and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, cooked to order. I would happily stay here again

This is an amazing place. The architecture is modern but not cold because of the intelligent combination of glas, metal and wood. The surroundings are very quiet and green with lots of trees. When you enter the building the view through the large and high windows of the lounge on both the infinity pool and ocean is really breathtaking. The room (a suite) is large and offers the same stunning views. The furniture and decoration give you a homey feeling. Hospitality is not a vain word here. Definitely a place for relaxing where you should stay at least two days.

We got more than we expected, for the price we paid. The cleaning ladies are very humble and friendly. Will never believe any reviews any more. Flat was kept clean and the lifts were both working. The receptionist is a darling and even changed our room so we could have an excellent seaview. He really goes out of his way to accommodate the guests. The manager, Zain, is a hands on person and really cares about his guests.

Locals are very friendly, quiet and tranquil indeed. Yet Umdloti has a very nice night life, with beautiful restaurants, pubs, and the everything is very central and within walking distance. My favourite place thus far in KZN.

I have been visiting the place quite often and each time has a different experience. Some visits were more pleasant than others but again the units have different hosts nd hostesses and so is their professionalism when dealing with guests. I can't let 1 bad experience ruined everyone's chance of visiting the place because Sibaya has amazing units, very private and your safety is of utmost importance to them. Checkers and Checkers Liquor are just a walking distance away to some and just a door step away from other properties. It is surely a place to visit when u need that quiet time either alone, with partner or even family.

Ensure that you have your own transport to make your stay more enjoyable. Do not depend on public transport of any sorts. They are not available from around, meaning that those from afar will cost you more than anticipated because they are private booking shuttles, not cab services. It's a true getaway for when you don't want to be easily found/located.

Honestly there's nothing to change there everything is just too perfect. We arrived late and guess what the security from the gate welcomed us with a great smile, he even called us by names which clearly tells us that they care about their clients. They helped us carrying our luggage to the room, when we got to the room WOOOW it was 100% on point, very clean and the location is great. Their breakfast is top notch I can't compare it with anyone's, the lady at the reception OMG she's soo friendly..actually everyone was so friendly and welcoming, I really enjoyed my stay and definitely I will recommend to my friends and family.

The place is beautiful. Am sorry about my earlier review I got itt all mixed up with another place I stayed in Kempton Park Joburg. The place in Verulam is well maintained and. beautiful I would recommend ito everyone who is looking for an excellent place to stay

A delightful seaside village with great beaches and a number of excellent restaurants and cafes and bars. A lively place in the best sense. Safe and easy going. Only 10 km from King Shaka (Durban) airport. Would definitely choose Umdloti again.

It's peaceful and easy to travel through, not a lot of traffic and impatient people around. Friendly people that make an effort to give you directions and suggestions. The ocean is beautiful, great for fishing and family picnics. The staff at the Spar and other shops are friendly and kind.
