Jagersfontein is very run down and poor, there are beautiful old historic houses and churches, but I would say a morning of driving around the town would suffice. Fauresmith is a lot cleaner. Luckily we bought Pies in Colesberg, as there is nowhere to eat or really buy food in Jagersfontein. The roads around the area are terrible, we just have a little Ford Figo and had to travel at 40km/hour and less at times to avoid very bad potholes, although we were told the roads would be fine for our car....I would suggest a higher vehicle bakkie or 4x4.
