We've stayed in the hives for 2 nights. It's so unique experience under the stars. The views are amazing, and we even spotted whales in the ocean (it's very rare). The hot tub near the room is fascinating, and even in a cool day it was lovely. The staff is doing the best to help and assist with everything needed (especially JJ!).

This property is incredible. I stayed in the dorm, the bed were comfortable & squeak free. Large pool, 2 HOT TUBS!!!!!!! Beautiful social firepit area and a restaurant all in one area. Clean & tidy surrounded by the national park.

Fernery Lodge is in an absolutely beautiful location, perched on a cliff with breathtaking views over the ocean. We stayed in one of the chalets and loved it — everything is wooden and beautifully designed, giving it a super cozy and unique feel. The chalet was very spacious and well-equipped, with a lovely bath and two showers, which was a great touch. The pool area is really nice, and the property has several hot tubs spread around, perfect to enjoy both during the day and in the evening. The whole atmosphere felt romantic, peaceful, and genuinely special.

Has what you need, open the door and you’re looking at the mountain in front of you. Hosts were very friendly and hospitable. Close to shops and restaurants. Quiet, perfect spot to relax. Hot tub was a great addition, thank you

Joubertina offers quietness and endless beautiful nature and...

Joubertina offers quietness and endless beautiful nature and farm views. It is small and in close approximation to popular areas such as Tsitsikamma, Storms River, Jeffrey's Bay and Cape St Francis. The town is small with limited produce and services, but the necessities are available. The roads are not the greatest, though any size vehicle will be able to drive it with ease. This is one of the warmest communities I have had the privilege to interact with and I would not second guess numerous more visits.

Please make the distinction between Joubertina (nearby town)...

Please make the distinction between Joubertina (nearby town) and Twee Riviere, which is the even more rural village where this property is located. Both are set in a wonderful, very long valley. Info on short hiking trails would be useful. However, we were only there for one day/night, so this is just a suggestion. Next time we will stay a bit longer.b
