A really great place to experience cosmopolitan Quizeen and as sleepy and casual as I would like.
The meals from various establishments both varied in theme and price.
Recommend Seafood from John Dory's, a minute's walk from the Hotel.
Value for money and an excellent menu, are combined with highly efficient staff, is our favorite lunch or early dinner venue
The SkiBoat club and (transport needed if a 2km walk to the site is your thing.

Hluhluwe is an amazing place to visit.
Hluhluwe is an amazing place to visit. However, from Johannesburg, you have to be mindful of the N2 to Pongola. There are heavy trucks construction and potholes on that road, the drivers drive with so much frustration.

Sodwana Bay is a beautiful beach with amazing wildlife. I am very disappointed that Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife and iSimangaliso Wetland Park are abusing nature for financial gain. It is a case of taking lots of money at the entrance gates and not putting it back into the maintenance and upgrading of facilities. Entrance fees, vehicle fees, conservation fees, overnight fees to Ezemvelo and iSimangaliso, and this excludes your actual accommodation costs to the place where you stay. Shocking! What is also happening with the conservation of such a precious place? Humans cannot just keep taking, without putting back. It is the rape of nature!

Mkuze is the best place to stay if you want to visit the...
Mkuze is the best place to stay if you want to visit the Mkuze Game Reserve. We saw plenty at the two hides - herds of wildebeest, impala and nyala and plenty of birds.
It's about 60 km to the Memorial Gate entrance to the Imfolozi-Hluhluwe Game Reserve - we got up early and got there as the gates opened to spend the day in the reserve.
It's also worth driving up Jozini and taking a boat out on the dam. The hotel has a great offering of tours with their own guides.

The scenery was good, room not bad, wonderful staff and great breakfast.
Boat is a daylight robbery, it's just too expensive and the boat os stationery most of the time we didn't fully explore the dam. The treatment at spa was substandard.

There are more areas to visit, forest walk (hiking) forest canyoning with tour guide, forest history, visit 3 miracle lakes, we did fishing, swimming in lakes, I'm still going to visit again soon.

I cannot recommend this place to anyone. The owners is misrepresenting the property.
There was no ice machine.
Aircon was not working.
Shower is not draining the water away.
Pool and entertainment area needs TLC.
The unit was cockroach invested.

We ate all meals at the Tembe Elephant Park lodge dining area for all meals.
With a self-drive 4x4 - was great as not crowded at all.

it was great to see all the animals, but the pricing of things simple things, did not suit the local SA pockets, but accommodated more so for foreigners, which is understandable as there were plenty of foreigners, which was nice to meet.
For SA, cater for yourself, to make the holiday more enjoyable. Foreigners it is a wonderful place to experience variety of SA foods, that suit your pocket

My stay was just right for my budget and family.
My stay was just right for my budget and family.
We enjoyed a self-catering unit which was well equipped.
The timing was good as the other holiday makers had not yet arrived making our stay feel exclusive and private.
