The place is truly beautiful. The house is spotless, stylish, and very well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly, and the host was welcoming and attentive. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the river-view breakfast was a highlight of our stay. We will definitely be coming back very soon!

Excellent service from every one of the staff I interacted with. I booked this accommodation as an overnight to where I was heading but I'll actually come back and stay there for a couple nights next time. Great location for birding! It's essentially camping but really well thought out and put together and comfortable. And thats really saying something considering I was there in a massive storm. Very happy with my stay, I've recommended it to all my birding friends.

It was the second time we stayed at the Outpost. For us it is one of the best Lodges in South Africa. We like the open concept of the rooms and the landscape surrounding the lodge. It is just so relaxing being in Kruger without the traffic jams of the south. Maybe there are places to see more big 5 animals but going to the fever tree forest is just unique as have the sundowner on the banks of Limpopo River with the Hippos. If you are looking for a special experience, go there.

I liked the fact that the place is right at the entrance to...
I liked the fact that the place is right at the entrance to the KNP, and that the staff were quite friendly. The place is so clean and i had all the stuff i needed for preparing my breakfast, lunch and dinner.
If you're planning a longer trip, look beyond Mutali and set off to explore the whole country!
