"We definitely recommend a visit to Graskop. It was a great base for touring around the Panoramic Route. We rented our own car from Joberg, which was the best decision we made. The roads around Graskop were easy to navigate, and the views were superb. We went to so many places in just one day! I think if we stayed one more night, it would have been perfect. We missed out doing the ziplines and eating at Harry's Pancakes! But in one day, we saw waterfalls (Lisbon and Berlin), the Three Rondevals, Burkes Potholes, and God's Window (you must climb to the top!). It was a fascinating day! Our eyes saw so much beauty!"

"Pilgrim's Rest is a great little stopover and you can easily spend a day there inspecting the old buildings, visiting museums and the cemetery. Plenty of options for lunch and a few little stalls for souvenirs. All in all, I highly recommend."

Everything was excellent. The back-power was a lifesaver, as was the misquito net over the bed. The Alexa voice system for controlling lights etc. was very useful. We had lots of animal visitors: warthog, duiker, bushbuck, impala, wildebeest and eight male kudu. P.S. We accidentally set off the alarm and an armed security guard arrived within minutes. This made us feel very safe!

Impeccable location. Secluded, serene and special. You’re welcomed with open arms and are readily catered to your needs. Take the time to slow down - or else you miss the hidden treasures. Game drives with experienced guides & trackers, and service staff to make the best of each moment. Thank you, team. It was a pleasure.

We had the perfect, most amazing stay! We stayed for 3 nights and had 6 game drives and that was perfect for us. We had Solly and Mike as our guides on the game drives and were really lucky with them! The staff overall was super friendly and we’d definitely recommend the lodge and would come back ourselves.

very comfortable safari vehicles, experienced guides, large rooms with the terrace, delicious food. During 3 days we`ve seen almost all kinds of large animals except rhino and leopard. It is also better to go to Kruger when it is a dry season, there will be better visibility.

It is a small town with limited restaurants but very affordable. The accommodations also affordable. I enjoyed sightseeing at the God’s window, and did the big swing which was a fear conquered, it is not a fancy town with fancy facilities to dress up as i had packed. Always pack light like leggings, and jackets! and have two or more pair of sneakers and you will be good

I really enjoyed my time in Sabi.

I really enjoyed my time in Sabi. One of the things I loved most was the weather. The cool climate there is quite different from other parts of Nelspruit, giving Sabi its own unique and refreshing atmosphere. The natural scenery is breathtaking. From the mountains and rolling hills to the beautiful waterfalls, the area is incredibly picturesque. Everywhere you look, there is something to admire. I honestly have very little negative to say about the place. During my stay, I did not experience any crime or unpleasant encounters with the local people. The environment felt peaceful, relaxed, and welcoming. Overall, Sabi is a beautiful destination that I would gladly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature. It is definitely a place worth visiting.

Booked a 1 night stay for my family of 4 at Forever Blyde River Canyon. The viewpoint was exceptionally beautiful. The pool area is really nice and the overall resort is very clean and well maintained. Quiet and peaceful. The 4 sleeper chalet is not something I would book again in it's current state.

Sabi game reserve is quite big with many private lodges...

Sabi game reserve is quite big with many private lodges inside. It is open to Kruger park, so animals are free to roam anywhere. The difference is that the ranger and tracker can actually follow an animal wherever they go (without entering Kruger). It is expensive , but if you can afford it, the experience is quite different. The ranger and tracker that took us for a drive from Umkumbe were great. The ranger spotted a chameleon on the tree, in the dark, under the light beam from the trackers torch, at a distance of about 25m. We have no clue how! Great experience to be able to go offroad in the vehicle and get really close to the animals. A leopard had hidden their kill in the tree, which we went back to after dark, when the leopard had come back. Unfortunately that was the only cat we saw that night. Saw a hippo and a hyena too, but that's just luck when you are out in the bush. A family on the previous night had seen the leopard kill the buck as well. The private Sabi game drive is expensive, and depending on how lucky you get, you might think it is either worth it/or a waste of money.

I have heard on the radio that Pilgrim's Rest was 'revamped"...

I have heard on the radio that Pilgrim's Rest was 'revamped" a few years ago, but what a disappointment. Great strides were made to install shopping units for the local traders to sell their goods - but all of the traders were selling the exact same African Art. We were there on a Saturday, and most of the other museum-like shops were closed. It was a ghost town. The local pub was open, and we had a drink. There are only two shops you can buy something from, and they seem reasonably priced, but I will not waste my time. Sadly, no one can think outside the box to liven up the place. It has so much potential!

It is an eco lodge so everything works off solar. There was only 1 x unit with a fridge which is a problem if you are self catering as one needs to keep food and meat refrigerated. Wi-fi knocked out by storm but we weren't pre-warned that it was out and there is no signal there at all.

Concession is great!

Concession is great! Roads are well looked after and there are a lot of signs guiding drivers into the lodges. We stayed at Imbali Safari Lodge in Mluwati and it was an unreal experience, everything was just incredible! We got to see many animals near our lodge and during the safaris, including 4 ou the Big Five. Can't wait to be back, it is an amazing place!

yoooo!!!!! exceptional, We are very satisfied. worth every cent we paid!. we have a top five of our favorite places, first, graskop gorge company, the big jump to be specific, second, the Sudwala caves, third, Lisbon falls, fourth, Luck Potholes, lastly, Mac Mac falls. As for restaurants, i did not like that the place is not surrounded by restaurants however our host recommended that we check out a place called The chubby Pig, we sadly did not go there but i am sure its a good place. it is very easy to navigate graskop super easy!

Breathtaking and grounding, nature weaves its essence into your being. In South Africa's Eden, Sabie and Grasskop unveil their magic. The atmosphere, serene and enchanting, captivates with its breathtaking beauty. The mountains rise in majesty, rivers weave their tales, Waterfalls cascade like whispers; the air sings of adventures untold. In the embrace of Mpumalanga, a retreat for the soul, Words falter, unable to capture its sacred essence. Nature, in all its glory, unfolds before us, a masterpiece divine. 👌🏽
