We felt truly welcome and pampered. From the delicious breakfast (with fresh fruit from the garden) and the cappuccino (indeed the best, outside of Italy) to the homemade pasta (try it!) and the special veg soup for those with the weaker stomachs (thanks again for fixing that issue). We had the most relaxed two nights stay and cannot recommend this place enough. So thank you Diego, Reka and of course friendly old dog Thiago, we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

I recently spent five super days at Apricot Gardens Boutique Guesthouse. After a drive up a dusty gravel road, a fantastic place was waiting for me. You need a car or need to use Ûber or a taxi when staying at Apricot Gardens. The house is situated amazingly up on the little hill with amazing views over the bay. The beautiful garden is a tranquil and immaculately maintained place to enjoy the sun and the views, or simply relax with a book. Rooms are spotlessly clean with super comfortable beds and lavish bathrooms. Excellent breakfast, too. I really enjoyed my stay at Apricot Gardens! I wish Johanna and Tom, and their team all the best for the future. It is going to be exciting to be back at Apricot Gardens! With my sincere recommendations!

The penthouse room was generously equipped with everything you could need on holiday. The air conditioning was excellent. Comfortable beds, a lovely bathroom with a bathtub, but the highlight was undoubtedly the huge terrace with its view across the entire bay. The breakfast was also delicious, with a lavish buffet and the option to order scrambled eggs, omelettes, porridge and much more. The friendliness of the staff was particularly striking. Michael at reception helped me with everything I needed; he was a very friendly ambassador for his hotel and comes highly recommended.

We had the most beautiful time! Michelle is a wonderful host! Her staff is very polite! Found peace and came back with a much healthier und calm mindset! The area is safe, the view stunning and everything needed can be found around. This is really for people who want to connect with nature, relax and experience a non touristic place. We loved it! Gordon’s Bay is a wonderful destination with so much to...
Gordon’s Bay is a wonderful destination with so much to offer. From its beautiful beaches and calm, inviting waters to the breathtaking views of the mountains and False Bay, there is something for everyone.
The town has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, with a fantastic selection of restaurants and cafés, many offering beautiful views of the ocean. The Old Harbour and marina add to the charm, while the coastal walks are perfect for taking in the scenery and enjoying the fresh sea air.
For those who enjoy nature and adventure, there are hiking trails, scenic viewpoints and the spectacular Clarence Drive, one of the most beautiful coastal routes in the area. The surrounding mountains, fynbos and abundant bird and marine life make it a wonderful place for nature lovers too.
What we particularly loved was the combination of mountains and ocean—you can enjoy a peaceful morning on the beach, a great meal overlooking the sea, and still be surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery the Western Cape has to offer.
Gordon’s Bay truly is a special place and, in our opinion, one of the Cape’s hidden gems. We would happily return and explore even more of what this beautiful coastal town has to offer.

Don't try and walk to Lions Head from this location.
Don't try and walk to Lions Head from this location. You will be exhausted before you start. Start from the Lions Head parking at the base of the mountain. We failed because of being too ambitious.
There is an Italian restaurant close by. We only had breakfast, but the meal, service and decor were special. Very memorable and worth the little bit extra.

This accommodation has a verry bad neighbourhood! You have to drive to a really unpleasant area to get to the small holdings which are then fenced and secured. But huge warning since at the gate shows how safe the area is😉

I liked the reception.
I liked the reception. Then the overall look and feel of the hotel. Our room were neat and the right temperature by arrival. There could be more water. The seaview from our balcony were great although the air were misty from early evening till the early the next morning. We love Krystal Beach Hotel. Would recommend it any day to anyone. I could easily stay there a whole week.

The area was ok.
The area was ok. I would not walk around alone or in the evenings though. West side does not seem save to my opinion.
Main street very busy. People enjoyed walking the pets and strolling.

I enjoyed getting to know Gordon’s Bay and the second hand book shop, which understandably draws visitors from miles around.
The mountain, where Manor House is located in Sir Lowry’s Pass, shared many different delights every day including beautiful horses, an Italian vineyard (ahem winery), a steam train complete with cheerful “toot!”
The mountains themselves give the scene an Alpine feel; the urge to sing may be unavoidable.

Gordon's Bay appears to have been left behind in time, which appeals to me. The beaches are clean, there is a book store, gift shop and fish & chip shop amongst others which offer excellent value. The people are friendly, I was always greeted by passersby when walking on the beach. The town is also well protected from the wind, whilst blowing strongly elsewhere the town was calm and protected by the surrounding mountains. The little bay is a gem and the nearby scenery is international level.

It’s an RDP house in a township it was dark and you can not...
It’s an RDP house in a township it was dark and you can not drive over ons u you get to that street it’s a dead end……after we arrived we noticed a black BMW then, we daparted as soon as possible …it also departed ons we moved im sure they are using that house to rob people.
