The rest of the staff were also very, very helpful and their friendliness was heart-warming. I loved the view from our room and it was spacious and impeccable. The parking was great and gated as well. Of the 6 Hotels we stayed at all over the Western Cape, this was one of the best if not THE BEST...Thanks for an Awesome end to our Month long stay in South Africa.

I recently spent five super days at Apricot Gardens Boutique Guesthouse. After a drive up a dusty gravel road, a fantastic place was waiting for me. You need a car or need to use Ûber or a taxi when staying at Apricot Gardens. The house is situated amazingly up on the little hill with amazing views over the bay. The beautiful garden is a tranquil and immaculately maintained place to enjoy the sun and the views, or simply relax with a book. Rooms are spotlessly clean with super comfortable beds and lavish bathrooms. Excellent breakfast, too. I really enjoyed my stay at Apricot Gardens! I wish Johanna and Tom, and their team all the best for the future. It is going to be exciting to be back at Apricot Gardens! With my sincere recommendations!

This Boutique hotel is nicely located in Gordon's Bay with an absolutely stunning view of the ocean and an ideal infinity pool. Scrumptious breakfast is served of the deck overlooking the ocean. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have very comfortable beds and pillows - I usually struggle to sleep the first two nights in a strange place but here I slept like a baby!

We had the most beautiful time! Michelle is a wonderful host! Her staff is very polite! Found peace and came back with a much healthier und calm mindset! The area is safe, the view stunning and everything needed can be found around. This is really for people who want to connect with nature, relax and experience a non touristic place. We loved it! It’s an RDP house in a township it was dark and you can not...
It’s an RDP house in a township it was dark and you can not drive over ons u you get to that street it’s a dead end……after we arrived we noticed a black BMW then, we daparted as soon as possible …it also departed ons we moved im sure they are using that house to rob people.

This accommodation has a verry bad neighbourhood! You have to drive to a really unpleasant area to get to the small holdings which are then fenced and secured. But huge warning since at the gate shows how safe the area is😉

We have stayed for a long weekend in Melkbosstrand and for the past 5 years each January in Strand. The area around Strand and the beach is nice, even though it can get very busy - it is a nice place to stay and lots of things to do.

I enjoyed getting to know Gordon’s Bay and the second hand...
I enjoyed getting to know Gordon’s Bay and the second hand book shop, which understandably draws visitors from miles around.
The mountain, where Manor House is located in Sir Lowry’s Pass, shared many different delights every day including beautiful horses, an Italian vineyard (ahem winery), a steam train complete with cheerful “toot!”
The mountains themselves give the scene an Alpine feel; the urge to sing may be unavoidable.

Lovely holiday vibes. Bikini Beach not up to swimmable standard. Green slippery rocks indicating presence of some kind if algae. Not clean, not safe. Not sufficient change rooms and toilets on the entire beach!

The beach was very pleasant and nice for my grandchidren who enjoyed the beach They also enjoyed the waterworld on the beach, There are great shopping malls in Strand and many convenient stores for the odd things you may require. The people in Strand are mostly very friendly and it was a pleasure going around checking out different places
