We got upgraded to a wonderful apartment 209, its was really wonderful. This is a luxury apartment. It has wonderful uninterrupted view across the bay towards Table Mountain. The views of the sunsets were stunning. You can see the beach, waves and in the morning flocks of birds flew right over our balcony. The bed was very comfortable, the bathrooms clean and showers were hot. There was sufficient lighting even during load shedding. All staff members were friendly, efficient and very very helpful We were just a couple but this apartment, can easily house 4 and more quite comfortably .There is a modern big kitchen two sleeping room a big balcony to sit or sunbath, it also had a splash pool which we did not due to the weather. There is air-condition in the rooms. The whole building is fenced and there is 24/7 security, so we were not worried about security in the apartment or for the car. There is laundry service that was very efficient and we could have also choose to use self-service. We did not use the gym, the swimming pools or the common bbq but all seemed quite nice.

The property offers a stunning view — especially during sunrise and sunset — with the sea right in front creating the perfect relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Every morning we enjoyed a fresh, delicious breakfast made with care, served in a peaceful setting overlooking the sea. The entire team working here deserves special mention — everyone was exceptionally kind, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their genuine hospitality and positive energy made our stay truly memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this guest house to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay with amazing views, great service, and a warm, friendly atmosphere. We visited Cape Τown for Xmas and New Year and this was the exact perfect place we were looking for; a boutique establishment next to the sea with very friendly and accommodating host and staff that made us feel very welcomed, even during the time we organized our trip. Every corner in the shared facilities and the room is taken care of with great taste, peaceful and cozy with a positive vibe, and spotless clean! Our triplex room had direct access to the garden with the pool, that our seven year old son with his cousin loved and, ourselves relaxed on the sunbeds. The pool size is ideal for the young ones, still not for a traveler who is looking to enjoy it over the cold sea waters. Breakfast is of great variety for all tastes with warm dishes, and the staff taking good care of us. Overall, a stay that exceeded our expectations!

The accommodation is epic, what you see on the advert is exactly as it is. The value for your money is worth being there. The host is just bubbly and accommodating. She made sure we are welcomed and made our stay beautiful and we enjoyed every moment. It was hard when we had to check out after a week of being HOME. It was our home away from home. Awesome place.

Awesome place. We probably chose the best three days in the last 12 months to be on the beach. Busy but uncluttered beach with restaurants in close proximity. Strongly recommended if avoiding massive crowds is your thing.

lots of places to visit, even without a car. Ubers and mycitibus are good. Good restaurants and coffee shops nearby, also shopping malls. Loved walking along the promenade. We had friends who live there who drove us to wineries nearby several times. Lots to see and do even as winter starts.

Bloubergstrand is a nice area for a change of pace to Cape Town city center. Where you get to see brilliant Blouberg views of Table Mountain and enjoy some of the great beachfront bars, restaurants and rockpools. Doodles restaurant serves great Pizzas and jalapeno poppers, Ons Huisie restaurant has great South African cuisine and Blue Peter restaurant is a prime spot to grab a pizza sit on the grass and watch the sunset. If you are looking for a nice area with a collection of restaurants visit Big Bay area for great drinks and surf shops to rent sups and surf boards and hit the waves. One of the best kept local secrets (not so secret) is to walk across to the rock pools at low tide, take a dip in the rock pools and make sure to cross back at low tide to not get stuck.

Melkbostrand is a quite nice sea side village on the start/end of the wildflower route on the West coast. Very relaxed with very good restaurants and a small convenient mall. The only nu clear plant in SA is closed by and entrance to their wildlife park is for free. They also have a information centre explaining how nu clear power is created. Best place to take spectacular pictures of Table Mountain.

The beach is stunning and goes on for ever. it is a bit Windy but that is typical for coastal areas. Sad is all the micro-Plastics in the waives edge on the beach and a lot of Bottle caps. But I did see workers walking the beach to clean it up which is very positive to see.

Beautiful little village feel.

Beautiful little village feel. Lovely for a weekend break and the location is picturesque. Big tip: book online at the restaurants before you come. Most places only accept online bookings and they get full really quickly!!
