Great destination for a three or four day weekend.
ALSO a lovely summer holiday destination with a great variety of accommodations available for varying budgets. There are a number of vibrant restaurants and drinking spots; and the local OK supermarket is perfect. Walking the village is easy and pleasant.

Gorgeous secluded little town with very little distractions...
Gorgeous secluded little town with very little distractions other than the sea. Ideal town for running/jogging. Three restaurants and a small superette available; for the rest you'll have to drive to Saldanha (~20 mins drive).

Not so overrun by tourists, have a relaxed meal at the water's edge.
Sandstone Restaurant, Saldanha Bay Hotel, great food, great views.
You could even give the Hoofkantoor a try, not much to look at from the outside, but friendly service and good food. I believe there is live music on a Friday.

It's quiet, peaceful venue.
The room is fitted with remarkable detailed wooden furniture pieces, a reminder of a trip down memory lane. I was stunned! The Hostesses are friendly warm people with an eye for detail. Everything was perfect for Peter and myself.

The house was absolutely beautiful with stylish furniture and mirrors in every room, plus heaters that made it so cozy. It had all the equipment you need, it’s located in a safe area, and the shops are just a short walk away. The host was amazing - so responsive and available the entire time we stayed, which made everything really easy. I had such a great stay and I’ll definitely be booking it again, I wish had stayed more days ,the 3 days was not enough I enjoyed everything.

Paternoster is a wonderful small town on the west coast, definitly worth a visit. Its very relaxing. this past weekend was the blomme and wine festival so the town was very busy and vibrandt! If there is a show at Die Koelkamers Teater, you really need to go, such a fabulous venue for a show !! Fabulous little shops for gifts, coffee etc. Good choice of resturants around as well. Lovely beach walks ! Fortunalty I live in Cape Town and its just a short distance to drive up , if you are from overseas try and fit this place into your itinerary !

Beautiful. Very popular as there were many people. Clean and the people very friendly. There was one of other festival and everyone walked with wine glasses around their necks and the ladies had flower alice-bands on their heads - very festive😎

The house is stunning and well laid out.
The house is stunning and well laid out. Braai room is wonderful for family games or just sitting around chatting. Beautiful views of the sea and the green belt allows for wonderful walks. Lena who opened for us was great and available for any questions we had. We will be back and highly recommend this home that has that feels like home away from home.

What a beautiful, huge house! Lounge and rooms spotless, beds made with fresh green linen, and a perfectly clean pool. We threw a pool party and had the best time. The staff and host were so kind, warm, and full of smiles - the host especially is a humble, sweet guy. Great communication and clear updates throughout. Absolutely breathtaking place. We’ll definitely return soon. Saturday night we went to Garage Pub, to enjoy ourselves via The West cool place ever.
