SpainThe location is incredible. In a rocky peninsula, with the best views, super quiet, super comfortable, most friendly staff, suuper good breakfast. Walking distance to two beaches: one more protected, flat water, ideal for paddel surf and kids, and another open to the ocean facing the most beautiful sunset. There's a restaurant next door, managed by the same owners, super nice food and views. We did a day trip to churchaven in the West Coast National Park, and also to have lunch in Paternoster. Totally recommendable, I will definitelly come back.

NetherlandsWe stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel has a fine dining restaurant and we had every meal here because it was just so good. It is beautifully located with stunning views of the bay. The owner is very kind, passionate and professional. So is every single staff member we encountered. We highly recommend this venue. 15 min walk to sharks bay where you can go for a swim. And easy access to the gate for the national park at Langebaan which is near sharks bay.

Paternoster Dunes Boutique Guesthouse offers a wonderfully warm welcome, with Lindie and her team greeting guests with genuine smiles and heartfelt hospitality. Perfectly situated right on the beach, the guesthouse enjoys a stunning seaside setting and is just a short walk from the Paternoster Waterfront. Breakfast is an absolute highlight and comes highly recommended. This is a place I would happily return to.

A very nice selection of rooms and villas / cottage in the family run estate right at the beach in Mosselbank, the northern end of Paternoster, but still close to the center, everything can be reached within a few minutes. Great place to start exploring the endless beaches after a healthy breakfast which offers you many choices. Baywatch can only be recommended and I am looking foward to the next visit.

I liked everything about this stay; my booking was handled most professionally and the staff were all brilliant. I had two very peaceful nights and walked for hours along the beautiful coastline. Everything I needed was just a short walk away and I can honestly say that the lobster breakfast was such a treat. Thanks again guys and I hope that I can get back again very soon.

Fantastic hospitality with beautiful breakfasts.
Marina and Duncan have incedible knowledge of the West Coast and the ocean and are happy to share it.
The Delux Queen room was wonderful with great views from the balcony.
The Guest House is absolutely on the beach.

What a "palatial" home set right on the ocean. By far the most beautiful home on the estate, well maintained and all our wants were met right there on the property. The views are spectacular and could easily have spent longer and will be back.

Paternoster is a really lovely town.
Paternoster is a really lovely town. It's very quiet and there's not loads to do, but it's ideal for a short break or if you just want to relax. The restaurants are all really nice, the people are super friendly, there's some lovely little shops to browse around and some nice beaches. It's a nice town to walk around or you can rent e-bikes from the Waterfront. You can also use it as a base to explore the surrounding area such as Jacob's Bay and St Helena Bay.

What a beautiful, huge house! Lounge and rooms spotless, beds made with fresh green linen, and a perfectly clean pool. We threw a pool party and had the best time. The staff and host were so kind, warm, and full of smiles - the host especially is a humble, sweet guy. Great communication and clear updates throughout. Absolutely breathtaking place. We’ll definitely return soon. Saturday night we went to Garage Pub, to enjoy ourselves via The West cool place ever.

The house is stunning and well laid out.
The house is stunning and well laid out. Braai room is wonderful for family games or just sitting around chatting. Beautiful views of the sea and the green belt allows for wonderful walks. Lena who opened for us was great and available for any questions we had. We will be back and highly recommend this home that has that feels like home away from home.

I absolutely love St Helena Bay.
I absolutely love St Helena Bay. Every time I visit, I’m blown away by the peace and natural beauty of the place. The beaches are quiet and unspoiled, the sunsets are breathtaking, and there’s truly something special St Helena Bay.(so much so I bought some land) The locals are friendly, the seafood is fresh, and the whole atmosphere just makes you feel relaxed and at home. It’s truly one of my favorite coastal getaways.

The house was absolutely beautiful with stylish furniture and mirrors in every room, plus heaters that made it so cozy. It had all the equipment you need, it’s located in a safe area, and the shops are just a short walk away. The host was amazing - so responsive and available the entire time we stayed, which made everything really easy. I had such a great stay and I’ll definitely be booking it again, I wish had stayed more days ,the 3 days was not enough I enjoyed everything.

The room is fitted with remarkable detailed wooden furniture pieces, a reminder of a trip down memory lane. I was stunned! The Hostesses are friendly warm people with an eye for detail. Everything was perfect for Peter and myself.

Paternoster is a beautiful village, as with all villages in South Africa the juxtaposition of the wealthy and the under-privileged is stark, the locals seem to make it work. The town is well kept, beautiful with plenty of space to walk, ride bicycles and kayak, swim or simply be.
The unfortunate fact that the bulk of the homes are second homes / holiday lets is apparent, which is a pity, although does make accommodation more affordable.

We were there for a wedding, and the venue at Togryersvlei was fabulous, as was the Kamenaadjie padstal, where we had dinner the previous evening. Roosterkoek and various meats - delicious !
Try the Melktert jaffels from the deli - we bought some for breakfast the next morning.

St Helena Bay is a very interesting village.
St Helena Bay is a very interesting village. It is conveniently situated on the West Coast within in reach of many small, interesting villages and towns. It faces north over the sea, which makes it ideal. Its close proximity to Cape Town is definitely a bonus.
