South AfricaExceeded my expectations. Amazing little place with breathtaking views, kitchen/ lounge/ dining area opens onto boma. So nice and spacious fitted with all that is needed. Nyala came to eat fruit out my children's hands at the campsite. Could see zebra, ostrich and buck from our boma. Lynne was really accommodating and friendly. Kids were so chuffed to be called to come see a baby Blesbok.

We really loved the location -it’s very calm and peaceful. The food was excellent, and the safari experience was truly great. Our tour guide and ranger, Abigail, was absolutely fantastic and made our experience even more special. The facilities were very good as well. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed everything.

Executive Suite was the delight . the showers & bathtub Perfect for a couple . The Stuff was very friendly and clued up with the place. the wild life roaming around
The patio is reserved for the executive suite. I advise taking the exude suite

Great roads- except for the last 10km - which were dirt and not in great condition.
Lovely golf course in pretty good condition. Despite the fact that it was the end of winter the condition was acceptable - although some of the fairways were running out of grass. Not sure if I would rate it in the Top 10 in SA. Perhaps in mid-summer it would be closer
Beautiful bush surrounded our unit. Whilst we did not see agreat deal of game around our unit, there was quite a bit of game on the golf course.

The town has all your necessities, and the area is known to be warmer than central South Africa during winter which is always a nice break from harsher conditions where you are often able to wear short sleeves and shorts. The area has loads of accommodation to fit each budget in the area, which gives you multiple options to choose from which is great!

We can recommend the Dinokeng Game Reserve.
We can recommend the Dinokeng Game Reserve. Lots of animal and bird life. A number of routes to explore and they are generally in a good state. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are a number of lodges where you can stop for a break, something to eat and/or drink.

I always love a safari getaway so seeing all the animals was perfect. The quad bike rides were amazing and the instructors were so patient and eager to teach us everything. The roadworks leading to the location were a bit of a nightmare but that's on us, we should have accounted for it in our travel time. Also loved the pool area as well as the live entertainment at the clubhouse.

sort this out, as the stay is truly amazing and the people even better, personally I feel the Lodge owners are losing revenue directly as a result of the poor booking.com listing, come on be BETTER

The place is in a tranquil and remote area, so if you want to detach from the buzz of the city, you have the perfect spot.
The only thing that was a bit challenging was the gravel road stretch if you were in a small car.

I had Latte and koeksisters at Auroro Tea Garden and there was a fete and dans at the local community hall. I bought pancakes, but did not attend the dans.
I did not like that the community had to do fund raising to repair damage from the resend floads, no government funds are available for repairs

I went to Bela Bela to continue my memory trip .
I went to Bela Bela to continue my memory trip . I remembered Warmbaths 25 years ago, and was so disappointed. The streets were dirty, the pavements broken, the little town full of load music
I will definitely not go there again.

Peace full with many animals to view. 19 000 hectare just perfect size to enjoy for 2 to 7 days. Having the big 5 in a metropolitan area 40 minutes from my home and the size of 0.95% of the Kruger National Park is amazing. Pet friendly with exceptional restaurants in Dinokeng.
