The reserve is beautiful, and we had really good game viewing. The knowledge of the guides is some of the best we have ever experienced and the staff at the lodge really went out of their way to make our stay memorable.

Hein did everything possible to give the 4 year old boy an unforgettable experience. For all staff, nothing is too much and they all assist with a smile. This was one of our best lodge experiences. The food was OUTSTANDING!!!!! Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

We had a wonderful stay, everything was perfect. We stayed at the Beehive Cabin which is approx 2km away from the main lodge. The cabin is very private, beds are comfortable, cozy interior, the outdoor area has a fire pit, hanging chairs to relax and two bathtubs. You’ll find everything in the kitchen if you feel like cooking, but we opted for the restaurant for dinner and breakfast which was just perfect. The staff is lovely and took good care of us.
We went with the owner for an afternoon quad bike tour around the property and spotted many animals. Would definitely recommend to make this your next stay.

we did not have breakfast but everything was exceptional, Tshepiso called us even when we were still at home, making sure he met us on the way so that we reach the place without problems, the place was exactly as it was on photos, and we enjoyed our space and comfort, thanks

Never thought my Birthday was what it will be like. The Candles, Sweets, Strawberry, JC Champagne, Candles, Happy Birthday Baloons, The bedding written Happy Birthday above all the CAKE. The room was out of this world.

The size made it feel very intimate and like part of a home. It’s beautiful, food is fantastic and lovely break away from the city when you don’t want to be bothered to self cater in Mabalingwe.

I went to Bela Bela to continue my memory trip .
I went to Bela Bela to continue my memory trip . I remembered Warmbaths 25 years ago, and was so disappointed. The streets were dirty, the pavements broken, the little town full of load music
I will definitely not go there again.

The place is in urgent need of an upgrade. Almost all the kitchen items were dirty. The pots and pans were old and scratched. The knives were blunt. The dishwasher was broken. The bathroom mats looked like they belonged outside. The grill was rusty. The microwave is extremely old. The living room couches were terribly dirty, and the cushions were worn out and flat. The owner’s personal belongings, like cool boxes, were scattered around. The tap at the kitchen counter had no running water. The shower mats were mouldy.
The advertisement of the rooms on the website did not match what we got. The single beds were extremely hard, and the bedding was old.
The dishwasher was extremely dirty, mouldy, and broken.
The pool cues had no tips.
And I could go on and on!@

The reserve is very well managed.
The reserve is very well managed. Because of very heavy rains in the area, some of the roads were not good. We had all our meals at our lodge, so did not try any of the other places to eat. Our two games drives were excellent and our ranger did her best to locate interesting game for us.

Loved the homey feel and character of this huge space. It is extremely well equipped and well designed. The animals come to feed right in front of the house, and it is very close to the golf course. Main bedroom is very big, while the other rooms are smaller, so bear that in mind when booking.

The place is in a tranquil and remote area, so if you want to detach from the buzz of the city, you have the perfect spot.
The only thing that was a bit challenging was the gravel road stretch if you were in a small car.

The place really needs maintenance everywhere and they can improve on cleanliness and quality.

Loved the the experience of checking in the reception ladies...
Loved the the experience of checking in the reception ladies were very friendly. I wish they can renovate and update the hotel rooms it's outdated ,the sliding doors aren't working properly and fix the WiFi connection ,install fibre that would be better , activities are great really enjoyed ourselves with my family ,game drive, quads and massage enjoyed .enjoyed the bar and restaurant even though it's quite expensive!!!

Dinokeng is a bit disjointed and its not easy to find your way around - even with the map provided. We were not lucky enough to see the big 5.
The brewery is worth a visit! Not much game in the self drive area.

The house has 4 bedrooms, each numbered.
The house has 4 bedrooms, each numbered. We experienced the following problems.
Room 1 - Perfect
Room 2 - Missed a lot of globes. Couldn't use the bedside lamps or the lamps against the wall above the bed. Only 1 globe in bathroom.
Room 3 - Was a bit dirty and shower door couldn't close

I liked the service from the reception, they were friendly. The view of our room exceeded our expectations. It was big enough to cater 4 people😊. Hope you can put bath mat in bathrooms to avoid wet floor and slipping.
