The Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden is a luxurious lifestyle retreat nestled in Berchtesgaden amidst the idyllic Bavarian Alps, offering breathtaking mountain views. In a word, everything! The place is beautiful! The views are to die for! The spa and pool is fantastic! But most of all the staff is unbelievable!!! Every single member of staff we encountered was amazing. Always smiling and ready to help with any and everything. A sense of humor and familiarity but always with the utmost respect. A proper 5 star experience and we can’t wait to go back!

Just a 3-minute drive from scenic Lake Tegernsee, this hotel in the Bavarian town of Rottach-Egern offers elegant rooms, gourmet food and a spa with large swimming pool. This is the best hotel with the finest service, an incredibly professional staff, and everything is designed for the utmost comfort of the guests. We've never seen such a variety of breakfast options—it's like attending an amazing banquet :))) The rooms are fantastic with very comfortable beds—mattresses, pillows, blankets—everything is top-notch. The hotel grounds are unbelievably beautiful with a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely return here next time. Thank you for everything!

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. Excellent hotel with everything a family needs for a vacation. Parking is in the hotel garage, and it’s easy and convenient to get to your car. The breakfast selection is very wide, and everyone can find something - I especially recommend their breakfast muesli. During our stay, there was also a wide choice of snacks and light meals for lunch. Dinner is a real experience: great food served course by course, and if you're still hungry, you can help yourself at the cheese buffet with a wide variety of cheeses from all around the world. If you're with kids, you won’t miss the playroom, where you can find soccer, pool, air hockey, and some arcade games. The room is clean, quiet and comfortable. Pillows are very comfy - I always used to have problems with them in another hotels, but those fit me great - not big not small, just right enough. Staff is exceptional - they're always smiling, happy to help and to make your visit even better. The location could be better, but it’s not bad - if you want to ski, the best way is to take the hotel shuttle bus. GaPa downtown is about a 10–15 minute walk away. Riesersee is highly recommended for a light trip with kids.

Das Achental Resort is located in the heart of the Chiemgau region, in Grassau, between the Chiemsee and the Kampenwand, surrounded by countryside. Loved the option of being able to sit by the fire and have a good options for food. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming the moment we arrived.

Located in Traunstein in the Bavaria region and Max Aicher Arena reachable within 18 km, Aurora provides accommodation with free WiFi, a children's playground, a casino and free private parking. Clean comfortable very helpful host.

Located just 35 km from Sendlinger Tor, Ferienwohnung Familienglück provides accommodation in Tutzing with access to barbecue facilities, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. It was espectacular! Clean ! Location ! Very nice place to be ! Everything that we need it ! Cosy 🥰

This traditional Bavarian hotel in Bad Aibling offers a free spa with indoor pool, modern rooms with scenic views, and 2 restaurants. Its spacious garden features a lake and children’s playground. We liked everything, and mostly the inner politic for which we chose this hotel Perfect breakfast wirh everything one wishes for ans strachina at 6.30 so one can have a full day program We will certainly come back.

Located directly on the lake on the edge of Ingolstadt, Azur Waldcamping Auwaldsee offers accommodation in not only huge barrels but also bicycle lodges and camping pods that can be slept in. The place is very beautiful and comfortable. I hope to come back next time

Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and visit the “Tatzlwurm”. Our 4-star hotel is located on a sunny mountain plateau in the Bavarian Alps. Fantastic place for a few days stop over on a road trip in Europe. Spacious rooms (with separate area to work if you need to), balcony facing the waterfall and Alpine pastures, great spa (swimming pool, saunas, inside and outside rest areas), delicious breakfast and great dinner (go for 5 course menu). Location is superb, with walking and driving routes and right on the German Alpenstrasse. A bit more expensive than few other similar places we stayed at during our 2 weeks trip, but worth it.

This family-run accommodation is located in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, 850 metres from the town centre, close to the Zugspitze mountain. Very clean and had all the amenities of an apartment. Two balconies from which to enjoy morning coffee or evening drinks with spectacular views.
