Set in Aswan and with Aga Khan Mausoleum reachable within 23 km, The Mango Guest House offers express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a casino, free WiFi and a garden. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming. I had to leave for Abu Simbel at 4 AM and they kindly prepared a breakfast box for me, which I really appreciated. The place was very clean, and the garden is beautiful and relaxing, especially in the evening. The only thing to keep in mind is that since the Elephantine island is not connected by bridges, if you need to check out at night you should arrange the boat transfer in advance.

Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. The location, the cleanliness, the view of the Nile and the room, everything is perfect. The breakfast is plentiful. The staff at the front of the gate helped me with the broken shoes and they did not even do for any extra tips as most Egyptians do.

The reception team reached out right after I made my booking and even checked in about my arrival time, which was a nice touch. When I got there, they gave me a full run-through of the resort—restaurants, gym, all the facilities. The Jazoor restaurant was a real highlight: great food, beautiful Nile view, just the perfect combo. Breakfast was just as good in the lounge. Big thanks to Dina Hassan at reception, she was super supportive and really made the stay even better.

The sand court, the incredible Nile views, hearing the calls to prayer; we loved it here. The staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable and being in the heart of the Nubian Village was a pure treat. They arranged a camel ride to St. Simeon's Monastery for us. It was so fun riding through the Nubian Village and Desert. It was a joy working with them. We stayed 4 nights and wish we were there longer.

We stayed here for three nights and loved it. The temples can be done in one day, but this hotel is so nice that we felt sad leaving. The staff is super friendly.

Boasting mountain views, Miral Nubian House provides accommodation with a casino and a terrace, around 5.5 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum. Guests can benefit from a balcony and an outdoor fireplace. The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!
