Set in Aswan and with Aga Khan Mausoleum reachable within 23 km, The Mango Guest House offers express check-in and check-out, allergy-free rooms, a casino, free WiFi and a garden. Hamada was always ready to accommodate our requests. We organised transfer to the airport at 4am in the morning and it went very well. Also the visit to Abu Simbel temple. The island is very peaceful and the Guesthouse super clean and comfortable.

The resort is located a bit far but easily reached by a free tuk tuk provided by the resort. Having said that it’s location has the most breathtaking views. The resort is very well maintained, beautifully built and complimented by it’s decor and vibrant colours. Breakfast and dinner was of good quality and we truly loved having dinner overlooking an incredible view. The pool is a plus to the resort and we happen to use it alot.Last but not least the staff are super friendly and helpful. Obelisk Nile Hotel Aswan Resort is located on the Nile Corniche, just 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Aswan. All rooms have a garden view. The bedroom was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious with a beautiful view, and the dinner at the Italian restaurant was excellent. The staff were very friendly.

The reception team reached out right after I made my booking and even checked in about my arrival time, which was a nice touch. When I got there, they gave me a full run-through of the resort—restaurants, gym, all the facilities. The Jazoor restaurant was a real highlight: great food, beautiful Nile view, just the perfect combo. Breakfast was just as good in the lounge. Big thanks to Dina Hassan at reception, she was super supportive and really made the stay even better.

Nubian style rooms and very pleasant common area with trees, many tables and direct access to boats. We really enjoyed staying there and would recommend.

Great Nubian style yard with pool and restaurant along the Nile. Had a great party one night with lots of traditional dancing.

We were lucky to get Nile view rooms, and waking up to that breathtaking scenery every day made the experience incredibly memorable and well worth it. The sense of peace and serenity from the view alone added so much value to our stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were warm, professional, and went out of their way to accommodate our needs—including a late check-out, which we really appreciated. Every interaction we had with them reflected their sincere commitment to hospitality and guest satisfaction. The breakfast spread each morning was impressive, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options. What stood out the most was their thoughtfulness in catering to guests with early excursions—particularly for Abu Simbel. They not only offered a 3 AM breakfast service but also provided packed breakfast boxes for those on the go, which was incredibly convenient and thoughtful. The resort itself is tucked away in a location that feels very exclusive and peaceful, far from the noise and crowds, yet it remains accessible. The private ferry service to and from the main parking area was prompt, well-managed, and added a touch of uniqueness to the experience—it made us feel like we were on a private island retreat. After long days of sightseeing and travel, the resort’s spa was a true sanctuary. I had one of the best foot massages I’ve ever experienced—deeply relaxing and much needed after a full day of walking. It was the perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. Also they have a 4 pm chocolate hour which my kids loved! All in all, our stay here was more than just accommodation—it felt like a peaceful escape that left us refreshed, well cared for, and full of beautiful memories. We would absolutely love to return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Boasting mountain views, Miral Nubian House provides accommodation with a casino and a terrace, around 5.5 km from Aga Khan Mausoleum. Guests can benefit from a balcony and an outdoor fireplace. The location is in a tranquil nubian village on the west side of the Nile. If you're with the car, you easily exit on a highway towards the Aswan Dam of Abu Simbel. The courtyard is a traditional one, the room was big, clean and with a good wi-fi. The host was careful and the surroundings looked safe. We also parked the car at the gate front and it was ok. The breakfast was tasteful and we served it outside in the courtyard. On the evenings, the lights from the courtyard make a warm and nice atmosphere. A good value for money!
