Jauri Resort se encuentra en Kemijärvi, a 46 km de Suomu Mountain, y ofrece alojamiento con zona de playa privada, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. I’m not sure there’s enough to space to properly express how much we loved Jauri Resort. From the moment we arrived (and found out they had upgraded us for our 11 night stay) we were in love. Firstly, the staff was very communicative even before we arrived. We had to arrange a late check in, which was no problem at all. Once we were settled in to our beautiful cabin we realized Jauri is the best of both worlds. If you’re a traveller who prefers a self-sufficient Airbnb style place - this can be it. You have a kitchen and a private sauna and everything you need for an independent holiday. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked, it’s the perfect little apartment. However, if having a convenient restaurant steps from your door is something you want, they have that too. We enjoyed every meal we ate there. The staff is INCREDIBLY friendly and helpful and will organize anything you need. Tours can be started from your front door. We happened to stay during a cold snap (sub -35°) and after our little hybrid rental car decided to freeze up the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. They organized a late check out and helped us find the easiest way to the airport. And all of this while being so lovely and friendly. My reviews seldom run this long, but in this case it is necessary. Both my husband and I can 100%, whole heartedly recommend Jauri Resort. We’re already trying to decide when to come visit again. Kurula's Resort se encuentra en Pyhätunturi, a 18 km de Amethyst Mine, y ofrece alojamiento con zona de playa privada, parking privado gratis, salón de uso común y terraza. The location by the lake, the beautiful view of the woods and lake from the balconies. The northern lights apparently can be perfectly seen from the balconies, but we weren’t lucky to have them. The room was spacious, there was a well equipped kitchenette and the bathroom is big. And there was a spacious sauna! One of the beds faces the big windows directly, another was in a separate room that we did not use but would be very good for children. For fee and with reservations there is access to a large sauna and jacuzzi by the lake, so that a dip in the lake is possible. We did not do that, too cold for us!

Aurora Queen Igloos is perhaps the best accommodation we have ever stayed at. The night before we arrived, we were staying down the road at another hotel. The experience of the extraordinary hospitality at AQR started when Pasi offered to pick us up. When we arrived, we were greeted by Nina with a welcome drink with a "chill" style check in, in their exquisite "clubhouse". It is exactly what we imagined, a lodge in the middle of nowhere only the lodge was outfitted like a 7 star hotel. Nina had our activities already planned out for our three day visit and day 1 was to just chill out in our igloo. This was just what we needed. We wanted to make the most of this as the igloos are super high class. Beds are extremely comfortable, there are a couple of comfortable chairs and blankets/pillows etc to make sure you feel you are right at home....only better! Our second day started with a 5 star breakfast- freshly made eggs and the spread were only things we have seen at a brunch in a 5 star hotel. All fresh ingredients and very tasty. We went to dog sled in the morning and chase the northern lights in the evening. It was a perfect day as their staff were super knowledgable and also able to find the lights! They are even better in person! Our dinner this evening was in their "clubhouse" and again the food was top notch. We had the vegetarian option of cauliflower and also the reindeer. Our third day started with a 2 hour snowmobiling in the morning and a 2 hour snowshoeing in the afternoon. Again their staff, Anne Marie, is funny, knowledgeable and made the experience so authentic. We had dinner again that night with their curry and the fresh catch of the day- also both very tasty. The attention to detail is second to none. The decor, the food, the hospitality, the activities.....all made this holiday one of the best we have ever been on.

El Northern Lights Village Levi se encuentra en Sirkka y alberga un jardín. También cuenta con terraza, bar y recepción las 24 horas. La cabaña es de ensueño. Nos alojamos 2 noches y las 2 tuvimos la suerte de ver auroras. Una experiencia inolvidable. Buffet muy rico.

El Ranua Resort Arctic Igloos ofrece alojamiento en iglú en Ranua, con impresionantes vistas al cielo de la Laponia finlandesa y al cercano lago Ranuanjärvi. It's magical there. A really beautiful place. The igloo is really cozy, the staff are friendly and warm, the breakfast was delicious. Everything was perfect

El establecimiento Apukka Resort se encuentra en Apukka, a solo 15 minutos en coche de Rovaniemi. Ofrece varias saunas, entre ellas una sauna de hielo, una sauna iglú y saunas móviles. Everything! Beaituful place, lovely igloo! Friendly staff! Just amazing

El establecimiento Aurora Village Ivalo está en Ivalo y ofrece cabañas con techo de cristal, que ofrecen la posibilidad de ver la aurora boreal desde la cama. Es un sitio espectacular y solo puedo recomendárselo a todo el mundo. Si uno tiene la suerte de pasar alguna noche con el cielo despejado y ver la aurora es una experiencia increíble. Con mal tiempo para ver la aurora sigue siendo un sitio muy bonito con actividades interesantes para hacer y un personal muy amable.

El Northern Lights Village Saariselkä, ubicado en Saariselkä, ofrece restaurante, bar y wifi gratuita. Hay parking gratuito. We have been to other aurora cabins in Finland in Inari before. Their cabins are further apart. We did actually see aurora inside the cabin. I would imagine if the cabins were too close, this would not have been possible
