Amazing place to get together with group of friends (30 of us had stayed for 3 nights) in a quiet beautiful surroundings of the lake, pine forest, and plenty of things to do. Helpful and friendly staff supervised by the owner able to accommodate any requests in a timely manner 10 out of 10

Set in Savonlinna, 15 km from Savonlinna Train Station, Tanhuvaara Sport Resort offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel has a terrace and an indoor pool.

Tanhuvaara Sport Resort offers a children's playground. Activities such as hiking, skiing, cycling can be enjoyed in the surroundings, and guests can relax along the beachfront. Ok, air-condition could be more effective.

Facing the beachfront, Sahanlahti Resort offers 3-star accommodation in Puumala and has a garden, private beach area and terrace. There is a barbecue and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. What can I say! This was my 4th stay at Sahanlahti and as every time, my only big mistake was to have stayed just 1 night. The location by the lake is just beautiful, the rooms are so well done and have a friendly, welcoming vibe, the staff are helpful, the breakfast on a terrace in the morning is a treat. During the day there are other people around visiting the facilities, and there is a small harbor for a few boats, but it all comes together to being one place of life and relaxed enjoyment and nature. For me, it does good to my stressed soul every time I stay there. Highly recommended.

Overlooking Lake Puruvesi in Punkaharju, this resort is 100 metres from a beach and 25 km from Kesämaa Adventure Park. Guests can rent canoes, motor boats and snowmobiles on site.

All accommodation options at Holiday Resort Naaranlahti have a TV and a kitchenette. The refrigerator, microwave and tea/coffee maker provide comfort and convenience. Naaranlahti was a wonderful place to enjoy the Lake Saimaa district. We stayed in two connected guest rooms (there are also beautiful summer cottages available) which was very comfortable option for my family. The whole setting of the resort is beautiful on the lakeside with a little beach and crystal clear lake water. Best part of our stay were the activities: I rented a kayak and paddled to the fantastic Petri Island and with the family we rented a motor boat and explored the lake even further driving all the way to the biggest wooden church in the world (Kerimäki Church), the mysterious Hytermä Island and the little paradise island Eevansaari with its pretty sandbar perfect for swimming. I even snorkled on the waters of the island and saw a lots of fish.

Lunch and à la carte dinner dishes are served at Restaurant Paviljonki during summer. At other times, a snack bar is available. Leisure options include a mini golf course and tennis court. Wi-Fi is free in public areas.

Kesämaa Waterpark and Johanna Oras' Art Mansion are both within 5 minutes’ walk of Punkaharju Resort. Savonlinna Airport and city centre are less than 35 minutes’ drive away. Amazing place to relax and enjoy nature. Good atmosphere in the camping and with a lake in front of it. I stayed in a small cottage, and it had everything I needed. Big fridge and microwave inside the room. I rented a bike in the restaurant and cycled to Purkahanju. It's beautiful! There are also a lot of hiking trails around the area.
