This charming resort sits atop Tanjungan Village’s hills in Central Java, 1 km from Borobudur Temple. Nestled in the jungle, the setting is exquisite! The grounds are beautifully maintained and the filled with artful sculptures and historic touches. Around every corner of this vast resort there is something to delight in. The room was huge and felt like a romantic step back in time. The dark wood interior was filled with elegant touches, antiques, draped king bed, massive desk and several comfortable seating areas. There was a lovely balcony that wrapped around the room and overlooked a spectacular jungle. There was also both a private pergola and pool which made us feel like royalty.

The room itself was impeccable. Very clean, very spacious, comfy large bed, very good facilities. Nice terrace area too. The staff / Owner, very helpful, friendly and cheerful. Always someone around to assist. Owner let us use his scooter free of charge. Breakfast 10/10. Staff thoroughly clean the rooms after vacated. Although the hotel is currently new and still under construction (no building noises early morning or night) the surrounding of the lodges is still impressive and you can tell once completed, this place will be amazing. Dining / eating area is roof top so has amazing views of the mountains. Located in a lovely quiet neighbourhood.

The rooms are incredibly spacious, providing us with plenty of comfort and relaxation during our stay. We extended our stay. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast that set the perfect tone for the day. We are truly grateful for the wonderful stay and the genuine care we received. Thank you, Johan and family, for making our visit so memorable. We will be back again, the next time we plan a trip to Bali and mount Ijen is open to the public.
