Malangen Resort offers rooms with fjord views and self-catering cottages and apartments with a seating area and a bathroom with shower. We were able to buy groceries and cook. The view was amazing from our apartment. Though we were able to see a sliver of Aurora, the activities were just right.

Very quiet and clean, and in a great location by the harbor and bus stop. The staff was very friendly and responsive, and had some good ideas for nearby hikes.

Aurora Borealis Observatory is situated in Senja Island, 10 minutes from the city of Finnsnes and features ski-to-door access. Everything! It was an amazing stay and so special to see the northern lights
