Found next to Hardangervidda mountain plateau and only 2 km from Geilo Train Station, this ski-in ski-out hotel offers lodge-style guest rooms, free Wi-Fi and comprehensive spa and fitness facilities.... This is very high quality hotel. The room was spacious enough and the breakfast buffet was excellent. I particularly liked the waffles. It's also conveniently located if you want to explore the Hardangervidda National Park.

Located right at the edge, 1002 meters above sea level, is Skarsnuten Hotel. The hotel has a panoramic view of Hemsedal and with Hemsedal ski center as the nearest neighbor. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! It was sooo luxurious! The views are unreal and it’s by far the best hotel in Hemsedal! The breakfast was lovely, the rooms are nice and the spa is so relaxing after a day skiing, we used it most days on our 1 week holiday! I would 100% recommend this hotel! I would suggest having a car if staying at this hotel though as we ate in the town most nights and I can imagine taxis aren’t cheap!

Could not rate this hotel and spa highly enough, value for money? More than! Everything from check in to (free late) check out was outstanding and the staff were exceptional with me and my family. Our room was upgraded for free and the breakfast was excellent. Special mention to Elizabeth for the outdoor sauna ritual and fjord swimming in the afternoon, a truly unforgettable experience.

The good offer of swimming pools and jacuzzi. Nice! Good views to the lake. Good breakfast offer. The robes were given to us by the hotel when leaving :)
