How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Parking was full so we had to look for alternatives Hotel definitely needs some renovations Woman that was supposed to be responsible for the breakfast yelling like crazy at customers and staff as well, not a pleasure

Excellent location next to the main shopping street, CAEE and Carmen Thyssen museums and Caldea spa. Very helpful and welcoming staff, great breakfast with lots of savoury and sweet options. The room was spacious, clean and with nice details such as high-quality towels, tea-making facilities and a thoughtful array of freebies. Excellent value for money.

Sometimes during the day there was a noise from the floor above. I think there was a washing machine above my room, but at night it was quiet.
The location was very good and it was easy to park the car but not free.

The room was a bit obscure and no view from the window
The hotel is a bit far from the city centre but well located, the room was good with all necessary ammenities, friendly staff and great dinner. Definetly recomend the hptel.

Bathroom needs sone renovation, taps are a bit old and not working very well. There were no places available at the hotel parking, but at the reception they gave us an address of the parking nearby.
Very good room, though a bit small. Excellent location, in the vew beginning of the central street, but in a quiet corner. Nice, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Parking ( extra cost).

The parking was difficult to find, and the roads were a little tough to navigate, due to roadworks. The roadworks were certainly no fault of the hotel's! However the way the staff handled this, turned this into a minor hiccup, rather than a major problem.
Yomo Eureka was a great hotel for professional travel. Firstly, we booked parking, which was not easy to find. However the staff turned this obstacle into an opportunity, and helped us out with such a cheerful and positive attitude. We were so grateful. The location was excellent, at the top of a long pedestrianised walkway, with easy access to road traffic, and all other services. The big screen smart TV was great, and helped us to wind down with our own preferred viewing. Imagine my surprise to find a bath in the bathroom! A bath and a big TV made us feel very much at home after a long day of driving. The breakfast was every bit as good as other reviews had suggested. We would return to Yomo in a heartbeat!

The lights were on a sensor in the hallways and often wouldn’t turn on very well. The hallways were quite dark but not a major issue by any means. Everything else was great and the location was perfect
The hotel was excellent. Very clean, updated and well laid out. The breakfast was excellent, very big selection! Service was very good as well!

The room smelled a lot of cigarettes, but as soon as I informed them they tried to make it better.
The location is really good and the staff is friendly and really helpful.

Bathroom was a kind of heritage from the 1990's.. ..so a refurbishment should be applied.
Location was good, staff was kind and helpful. Room was okay. Price was okay (out of season in May 2023)

the central air conditioning system ( it felt a bit hot in the room) and we couldn’t put it on cold , but we’ve turned it of and let the windows open during the day and it changed everything. parking isn’t easy in the Area.
great location in the middle of everything, great staff ( thank you very much), very good breakfast.
