The hotel is in a great location. Right on the lake and directly on a small stretch of beach. It is also not far away from the Promenade. The hotel itself is very well equipped. The rooms have everything you need and are very clean. The absolute highlight is the balcony where you can enjoy the sunrise. Breakfast is served on a cute terrace, also with a sea view. The breakfast is very tasty. It has everything you need. The staff are super hospitable and nice. We felt very comfortable here.

Unfortunately my husband hates omelettes and we weren’t given the option to pick boiled or fried eggs at breakfast. No coffee provided at breakfast but unsure if you have to pay extra? Some people did get coffee.

Set in a beautiful location a short walk from a small secluded beach area where you can swim in the lake. The beds were comfortable and the area was very peaceful for a good nights sleep. The staff kindly did our laundry for us and hung them up to dry. The view from which to eat breakfast was stunning and the guy who speaks English was very friendly.

Nothing, it’s perfect

The property is very beautiful, the point of view is amazing honestly, it’s possible to park the car in security, there is a little city (Shkodra) right next to Bella Vista. It’s quiet, clean, pleasant and the hosts are very friendly. The breakfast is very good. We recommend this !!

The child-rails on the bed made it a bit challenging to get in and out...but that's something I was happy to live with given the beauty of the location.

We were looking for a place to get away and relax, and this property was perfect for this. I loved sitting out on the balcony looking over the lake. I could literally feel the stress roll off of me.

Everything was superb! The owner prepared delicious take-away breakfast for us very early, only thanks to his pure good heart that you can also see the minute you meet with him! Sunset from the balcony with the lake view is just wow! And something definitely worth mentioning that we did not read in other reviews: there is a really nice lake promenade with bars only about 1km away! We wished we have booked more nights at Bella Vista! Thank you so much for everything! Alexandra and family

Everything perfect! Location, room, balcony view, owner, breakfast, parking etc. We had early morning trip to Komani and host prepared for us hot breakfast which we could take with us on a cruise - thanks again! Highly recommended!

Staff was super friendly and spoke Italian, good to keep in mind you can only pay by cash The view is amazing! The room was geourges with a lake view from the bed and high wooden ceilings. It is easy to walk 15min to the next town with restaurants and a small super market.

I'd like to share my experience staying at the Hotel Bellavista in Albania, overlooking the magnificent Lake Skadar. The value for money was excellent, with a breathtaking lake view and enveloping silence offering a tranquil atmosphere. My room was basic yet equipped with everything needed, including a clean environment and a smart flat-screen TV. Despite the bathroom's small size, it was fully functional. The hotel had a family feel, with a small but very friendly staff. Breakfast was satisfactory, with the added bonus of lake views from the outdoor seating area. The hotel accepts only cash payments, and parking was conveniently available on the premises. I recommend it for a day trip to the lake.

Staying in the winter, the rooms are not heated until arrival, so be a bit patient as they don't take long to get cozy!

This place is a gem. We LOVED the location and the view, and while the room is a bit basic, it's priced very fairly. The staff were very warm and accommodating, but do have your translation app available if you're not an Albanian speaker.

Everything... the hosts were very welcoming and accommodating when we asked for some hot water for a cup of tea. The views over the lake were amazing. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was good. The room was very modern and nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious with eggs from the owners chooks. Highly recommended.

Very noisy unfortunately, so we woke up a few times each night. For example when someone else flushed the toilet a loud ringing noise filled the room?

It was our starting point in albania and the location was just beautifully with lakeviews and the possibility to swim on a little pebble beach nearby. Comfy beds and a nice little terrace for ourselves. Cute dogs :)

Generally communication with staff could be better ( the Dad was great though). Breakfast variable No lights in ensuite which was strange considering

If you want to be away from the city and it a quiet spot by the lake this is perfect. The owner did us a huge favour when our booked driver didn't show at 6am..He gave us a lift to the main bus station so we could get our bus to Komani lake. Otherwise we would have missed it
