How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The house was super clean and spacious ! Price was good too. The hause is not far away from Lungomare Vlorë. You can park your car for free in the property, and reach the beach in 10-15 mins by foot!

We needed an iron blade and the host was kind enough to provide us one for then entire stay. The host was very open to our questions, it was useful that he helped us with the tickets for a day boat.

Host and staff went above and beyond for us Breakfast was delicious and the ladies who served us very friendly We arrived late so the host the young man was so helpful he even ordered us in pizza as we were to tired to go out so a big thank you to everyone all the Albanian people we met throughout were so friendly and helpful would completely recommend this hotel and the country 😍

1) Location: it is located somewhere more in the outside of the town, next to a gas station, and at night we did not feel safe when walking back after dinner. 2) Beds were not comfy. 3) The bathroom lacked warm water and a place to put the things in the shower.
The stuff was very friendly and kind, they really offer a local experience. The breakfast was very nice, all products were fresh and grown by the family, they offer high quality coffee and tradicional food.

The neighborhood seems a bit sketchy. There is very limited street lighting so at night it can feel a bit dodgy.
Friendly hosts, lovely breakfast and the room was very big!

Absolutely nothing
It was probably one of the best tourist experiences I’ve ever had. The family that runs the place is just so nice. They have us advice on very nice places to go and eat. And the breakfast is like… omg!! All local things. The momma even prepare us things to take away for our trip. We had a little issue with the bath that was solved immediately. Besides not being exactly in the center, I would definitely recommend to go there.

The hotel was easy to find with GPS and we have been warmly welcomed by the staff of the hotel. The manager took time to give us advices about what we can do in the city and the surrounding area. Furthermore, the Personal helped me to prepare a surprise to my girlfriend. The communication ran really good out. The breakfast was very tasty. Thank you very much to the staff for making our stay so pleasant.

It's a little bit far away from the main attractions, but still walkable.
Nice apartment with a huge kitchen and a comfortable bed. Very helpful manager and a lovely lady serving a typical local breakfast.

Close to the beach and promenade (10 min by walk). Very helpfull personel, wonderfull breakfast from fresh products. Room is actually like apartment, you have seperate bedroom, sitting room with kitchen and large bathroom.

The hotel is right next to a busy road, although the room is quite sound proof. The fridge was a bit stained.
Very spacious room and ensuite bathroom. Helpful and very friendly staff. Good value.

The family running the hotel are so kind and helpful. The rooms are large and bright, and the location means it’s quiet but easy walking distance to the centre and beaches. Also, breakfast was delicious

You need to walk for 15 minutes to get to the Beach boulevard and if you return to the hotel at night It’s a bit dark and has weird streets
The bed was really confortable, we had an amazing sleep. The bathroom was huge! The breakfast was good!

This is one of the best place where to sleep in Vlorë. the hotel is well located ,in fact you can reach the seafront within just ten minutes by foot. the hosts are super friendly and polite ,and furthermore the breakfast is delicious and generous.
