Everything was perfect here! Fabulous views overlooking the town towards the mountains, all staff went above and beyond all the time, room was enormous, everything spotlessly clean, and a great pool which we used most days. We read beforehand that Gjirokaster is very steep, and the Rose Garden is pretty much at the top. It is definitely steep and you're doing it several times a day if going out and about. But stick with it!! It gets easier. The charm of this quiet and beautiful hotel makes it worthwhile. Plus there's a cheeky cut through to the castle!!

Lovely stay at this hotel. The location near the castle is excellent. The breakfast (especially the eggs and espresso drinks) very good. Beautiful view and a nice pool for relaxing. Service was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Minor points but - unfinished looking pipe ends sticking out in the bathroom. We also had several flies in the room despite it being air-conditioned and we didn’t open the windows. The instructions sent to get to the hotel didn’t work very well as seemed to direct us up a street with a no entry sign but google maps got us there! It is up steep and narrow cobbled streets and we wished the car rental company hadn’t kindly upgraded us to a larger hire car!! However overall we really enjoyed our short stay.

Lovely pool and really well located for the castle and bazaar. The hotel has lots of character with beautiful carved ceilings. Our room was very spacious and comfortable with good views from the windows. Shower water pressure was great and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style with a good range of food. Staff were really helpful and one of them kindly created a mocktail especially for me when we had a drink by the pool! Good coffee with breakfast. They really kindly let us leave our car in their car park on the day we checked out whilst we spent the day exploring the town.

Bit difficult to get to by driving. Great of the staff to offer better directions to get to place.

Location was fabulous, breakfast was good and the staff were very good. It is very good value for the cost. It was a bit difficult to get to the place by car but the staff messaged us a way to get there ahead of time which was much better than google maps.

Everything was great!

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was perfect! Everything was so fresh and our eggs were made to order. I also loved how we could take a small trail that was only 3 minutes to the castle. The views were phenomenal! Also, the beds were VERY comfortable and we were impressed with how clean the entire place was. I definitely would stay here again. Thank you!!!

nothing much everything was good

super room with nice view over town {we were upgraded to upper floor} staff were excellent and friendly, right next to castle which is must visit. A bit of a steep walk to town but on the plus side it is nice and quiet. As we stayed her in feb it was quiet all over town but would love to stay here in summer and relax by then pool overlooking town.
