How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Highly recommend!
Excellent choice. This hotel was really value. Good price. The breakfast was enjoyable, the room was fascinating with all the right facilities. The hotel also provide parking, good point for them. The staff was very nice and helpful. The host Amalia was extremely the best right suggestions and a warm welcome.

Pss you gonna love this place.
Familiar place with very friendly guys. Amalia the host very sweet and helpful. The breakfast was yummy yummy, those home-made jams were amazing. The room was huge and comfortable. The hotel also provide parking. Highly recommend this place.

Hotel with all the standart like breakfast, parking, room service. The room was big with all the facilities. The breakfast was delicious ,it has variety. The staff was responsible and friendly. Amalia & her family was lovely. The room has a giant balcony where my kids love it. The breakfast was amazing we tried a lot of things. The beach was near with the hotel so we haven't to move our car from the parking. I love this place. Highly recommend.

The place to be. The room was fantastic with cozy beds and clean sheets. The breakfast was yummy , yummy. A lot of stuff. Amalia and her family was able to help you all the time , they helped us with our baggage and suggested us nice place to see. We also tried at their restaurant and the food was really good. The room was comfortable with all the necessary things. The a/c worked very good. The breakfast was full of stuff. The good day from the morning starts as the breakfast. Amalia was nice and helpful , she makes our stay lovely. We also had parking which was a plus for us. Highly recommend this place!

Nice hotel with cozy bed and very clean room. It had a nice balcony with clean sheets and towels. The breakfast was really yummy, i love the home-made jams. The staff was helpful and kind. The bed was very creaky so every time we turned over in the night we woke up! Other than that, we had a great stay.
The location was excellent, a minute from the beach and all the bars and restaurants but it wasn't loud at all. The rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were lovely and friendly.

Stairs and narrow corridor to achieve the room.
Room is comfortable. Very proactive staff. Amelia does everything to make you happy. Location is very convenient. Next to supermarket, restaurants and in front of a great bakery. And just 3 min walk to the beach. Parking was very good and free, near the hotel. Breakfast is not a buffet. You need to order in the menu (few options, but good quality).
