The location was the best bit, near the motorway but had a very pleasant area. There is a supermarket nearby where we were able to get some food for the journey. The food was extremely good, although we only had a starter and dessert, as we had overindulged the evening before. The locals made a space for us at the bar and it was very pleasant talking to a couple of them. It goes without saying their English was much better than our German!

Easy to find hotel with free private parking. Be sure to book a table for dinner, it was amazing. Sparkling clean room, with the extra bed for our son made up and ready for us. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful mountain view. Wish we had stayed longer.

Being typical British there was no tea or coffee facilities within the room and no fan or air con. We hit the area in a heatwave though. Only minor things but wouldn't stop any visit again.

This was a one night stopover and so glad we did. The hotel and village is set in the mountains. Lovely views. Hotel inside was just as we imagined. Very Austrian, Very clean. Friendly staff. Food in their restaurant was excellent. A lot of local people using it , which is always a good sign. Service was fast and efficient. We ordered a bottle of wine and sat watching the deer in the fields and the sun go down. The bathroom was of high quality and cleanliness. Parking was easy and available. Went a walk around the lovely village. Will defiantly go back.

Perfect location for a stopover from NL to Italy. Very friendly staff! Our son forgot his stuffed animal and the hotel staff mailed it to our next destination, such a great gesture!

Breakfast room can be crowded if a tour group arrives before you (happened to us); plus it‘s especially tight maneuvering around guests at the buffet.

Quiet location, however the outside restaurant terrace and children play area are below your balcony; could be a problem in summer with guests having a merry conversation late in the evening (we did). The restaurant has a very impressive menu, however our dinner was spoiled when our expensive wild game dinners arrived just a couple minutes after our started salads.

The staff seems to be very busy all the time. Breakfast was nice but several items including eggs and croissants ran out even though we were there an hour before closing, choice was very typical. We had to ask to make more scrumble eggs. A laundry facility was good to have but costs 14 euros per load, washing and drying.

Room is very clean and comfortable beds with nice size balcony with mountain view. The location is a good base for traveling, easy access to Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein. The area is so beautiful. The restaurant was very good, and we ate every nights of our stay. The restaurant gets really busy and I would recommend to make a reservation for the night. I really enjoyed their salad with trout and fried calamari, and my partner had a really nice chicken schnitzel. I would like to try more menu items of the restaurant when we came back. We had a very nice stay in this hotel.

Poor parking arrangements; no reserved parking for guests despite requesting it. Proprietor said most of the parking was taken up by restaurant patrons and we would have to wait to find a spot until they left.
