We loved everything! Ingrid and James have made a great effort to make us feel super welcome and comfortable. They provided everything we needed and much more! The room was so cozy, spot clean, filled up with lots of treats, freshly home baked bread (delicious!!) and board games (loved the chess board!). We also got a bottle of wine, what a treat! We loved the little bird house too. We got to see birds we have never seen before. And wild rabbits, and Kangaroos. So cute! The outdoor has comfy chairs from where we admired the stunning sunset on the hills, and millions of stars afterwards. Just a piece of Paradise. Very welcoming and full of nice touches. We didn't even need to go having dinner outside the day we arrived because they gave us plenty of nice stuff for our arrival like amazing bread and pastries. Plus other convenient stuff in the fridge. The space is very nice decorated and the feeling of a getaway to the mountains is worth it. Totally recomended

James & Ingrid generous hosts, thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Neatly designed studio, spotlessly clean bathroom with a spacious shower and shower head was perfect, warmed up quickly, well stocked kitchenette, and they even gave us freshly baked high top white loaf and ice cream, the bed was comfortable and warm, and you don’t notice if the other person moves, cotton linen was fresh and quality. Showcased Beechmont country lifestyle with diverse range of bird life to enjoy right in front of you. Well maintained gardens and Lucy the Westin was quiet and a darling.

Every detail has been carefully considered in this supremely tranquil hinterland escape. Ingrid and James gave me a very warm welcome and ensured that the kitchen was well-stocked for my stay. The bed (with a view) was so comfortable and the cheerful birdsong was the perfect soundtrack for my mini-break. Everything is impressively clean and the shower is one of the best! The stars in the wide open sky at night were an unexpected bonus.

If you are looking for a stand-alone unit that is secluded, then this stay is probably not the right fit for you. However, if you are looking for a comfortable, homely environment where you will feel welcomed by a couple who goes out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible, then this is the place for you! We were welcomed with a freshly baked loaf of bread that was simply divine! That, together with sitting outside in the fresh open air, watching the birds and enjoying the view, made our stay memorable! We will be returning!

The self-contained unit is well maintained. Everything is very clean. It’s comfortable and spacious with all needs taken care of. There is a pod coffee machine, plenty of fresh milk, a fridge stocked with bacon, eggs, yoghurt, fruit, and butter. The shelves are stocked with different cereals (healthy gluten free), teas, coffees, milo, etc. There is a games cupboard, tv with Netflix, a hairdryer and first aid kit in the bathroom cupboard. Freshly washed towels and a very comfortable bed. It feels like a home away from home.
