Lobster Pot Cabin is a quaint coastal cottage that truly has everything you need for a relaxing break. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the attention to detail and the cozy atmosphere. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked with pots, cooking trays, and utensils, not to mention the thoughtful provisions of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the linen was amazing—soft and inviting. The bathroom was functional and clean, with the special touch of having body wash, shampoo, and conditioner readily available, which was greatly appreciated. One of the highlights of our stay was the indoor fire. It was perfect for warming us up at night after a day of adventure. Although the weather was not on our side most evenings, we did manage to enjoy the outdoor fire pit on one night, which was a wonderful experience. Heidi’s attention to the finer details makes this cabin more than just a beach shack. It’s a welcoming and relaxing space that truly feels like a home away from home.

Beautiful relaxing property. High quality linens, gorgeous kitchen, loverly outdoor area and private beach. All appliances were top end and worked well. Master bed very comfortable. The owner has a eye for decorating that makes you immediately relaxed in a home environment

Nothing- loved everything, though just a warning that the hot water is very hot, and you have to be careful.

We felt relaxed almost immediately on our arrival. It was very comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. Views of the water and beyond were lovely. We could walk out the back onto the beach area, which we did several times. The property was well appointed, with everything we needed, including a clothesline and pegs ( so often missing in holiday homes).

Location was perfect for exploring Bicheno and Freycinet. Decor was beautiful so tasteful and warm and inviting. I specifically booked a place with an open fire.

Amazing service by the owner. Exceptionally clean. Great property, easy to find, perfect location and view. Only took us 10 minutes to drive to the walks at wine glass bay and the oyster marine farm is a 2min drive away. This property was above and beyond my expectations. I left feeling so content and relaxed!

We enjoy the privilege of staying in upper echelon accommodation wherever we go, and I have to say that the windows were disgraceful!!!!!!!.... they were filthy!! All the windows facing the lagoon were absolutely disgusting and really detracted significantly from the aesthetics of the whole property. They had been cleaned with a rag and the swipe marks all over every single one were visible from mid-morning onwards. On checking the cleaning gear that was stored in the laundry cupboard there was no sign of a squeegee...Windows this size always need to be cleaned with a squeegee and never ever a rag...so disappointing...for a property asking top dollar, this was a major let down. The instructions to the digital entry lock need to include the final step of pressing the arrow key to complete the exercise!!I am guessing that this has caused major frustrations with previous guests!!! The brochure book needs to be updated and maintained...this would help guests who are not familiar with the area.

Breakfast, especially the bread and the bottle of wine was delightful...thank you!! Great location Really appreciated the outdoor fire pit... The decor was beautiful.... loved the linen. We bought lined sheets from Magic Linen as soon as we came home!
